If Rudra is not aware of the hidden dynamics and Maya blames MJ for messing with their lives, only her tears cannot save their relationship. He would not shun her tears, but he might not believe what she says because MJ is too good at twisting the truth in his favor.

@Bold - Not only coz MJ took bullet but Rudra has been proved wrong in thinking MJ was indirectly a reason for Rishi's death but the actual reason was Rishi's GF. He realized that he was clouded with prejudices while coming to judge his father's actions and couldn't see the actual truth.Also thanks to Antara for pushing him into guilt trip at that time

Exactly, and all his worked in MJ's favor for reuniting with his son. Which is why he is a master manipulator. He can manipulate Rudra again that he is his dad, and he wants his good even with wrong methods, and when Maya also has her share of wrongs, going straightfoward might not be the best way for her.

This is how I see it, my personal opinion. I completely respect if others have a different opinion. 👍

That's the thing. That's what they are paving the way for.

Right now they are establishing 2 things-----When Rishi died and the past was not revealed, everyone kept saying that they can't sympathize with Maya. Fir woh past atom ke jagah sutli bomb nikla and that opinion didn't change.

But now with all the torture, most people have softened towards Maya and almost forgotten Rishi. Now most won't mind even if she goes on a killing spree with her hitlist.

So

1) They are gaining sympathy of audience for the heroine.

2) They are establishing the character of the villain and his extent of evilness.

Rudra is right now an aphrodisiac to fans as well as Maya and nothing more and nothing less.

Last episode they hinted about the upcoming track i.e. MJ's obsession on Manvi.

He is stalking her and talking about her all the time.

He cut her hair short and when she curled them like Manvi, he remembered her and said her name under his breath.

He is sure Rudra will leave her and she will end up with him again for him to do anything to her as per his desire. (He posed it as a murder threat but to me is sounded more like kinky flirting)

Both Diya and Antara are already insecure about this.

But as Rudra won't leave her, he will be getting more and more frustrated and desperate with time and that inner turmoil might blur his vision. He himself will be playing a kiss-kill in his mind about Maya.

Moreover, we are gonna get MJ backstory (may be abusive dad or something).

I have more than a feeling that now MJ is gonna end up as the antihero of the show, Manvi/Maya to be his obsession/love-interest and Rudra will only be here as an eye candy and an conflict-inducer in the life of the lead (MJ) from time to time. That's where I am seeing this show going right now.

I agree. But the conflict of Rudra regarding who to believe--Maya or MJ would be a real test to his love and I would love to watch it. Specially it will take the thriller atleast somewhere, where Rudra, Maya and MJ---all 3 would be equally important.

A manipulation war between MJ and Maya

and Rudra's brain working amidst all that can be a treat to watch.
