It is a simplistic story: Anurag and Prerna fall in love despite being from different backgrounds. To keep them yearning for each other, the writers introduced kasautis.

Kasautis are the second most important part of the story. Call them third wheels if you like. Viraj is a new kasauti. He is not a parallel lead. There will be other kasautis. Mohini is a permanent kasauti. Many others have come & gone. This will continue until such time as when AnuPre are married for real and the show ends. The show doesn't have much to sustain it, once the separated couple gets married to each other. But it never promised anything else other than the AnuPre love story!! To stray from that main theme is a death knell for the show.

You are saying if Viraj and Prerna had scenes together where the dynamics of their characters are created, hence possibly giving rise to a new couple that fans of Viraj could root for. It won't happen because we have seen one such coupling previously where Prerna started playing house with Bajaj.

It seemed like an awful betrayal. Anurag's wedding to Komo 1 seemed like an awful betrayal also, but with Anurag, the audience was able to hear his real feelings and thoughts because the CVs gave him monologues. We did not get many monologues with Prerna during her marriage. In fact, she started behaving very oddly.

No one wants to go there again!!! 👎🏼

Prerna and Anurag are not layered complex characters who could steer the show in new directions and help it evolve into a story more worthy of what some fans are hoping for.

Nah. What you see now, is what you will continue to see in 6 months! Only Viraj will be replaced by another Kasauti.

One thing is your story should have enough potential that ONLY lead characters have so much meat and character and layers that with the supporting cast they can drive the show. (Like a kahaan hum kahaan tum or a ye rishta) But if you are bringing parallel leads continuously be it KSG or Namik , you need to create strong character dynamics. Bang on...u nailed it...and the story is about star crossed lovers...every character is imp in his or her place for a show to run smoothly but daily bashing & spaming has led to so much negativity that the show has got stuck in the middle of nowhere..Results the Sinking TRPs..and with IPL round the corner Many shows are being pulled down..Kahan Hum Kahan tum also going off air ...much is being feared abt kzk2 being axed due to viewrship problems.

6 months? A show with 1.8 trp for this week is going offair next month. KZK was 1.7 this week... I think not Viraj the show might just get replaced this time.

Well many claimed that KZK will go off air once Bajaj left , that never happened 😆 infact the show resurrected itself from 1.5 to 2.2 😎 .... and this is the reason why Channel is still not pulling KZK plug ....they know the show still has potential ...

KZK cannot be compared to KHKT ... KHKT except for twice never made above 2+ ratings it has been stable ranging between 1.6-1.8 and this stable ratings made channel bring shift in the script only to realise that it damaged it more .
KZK where as has proven itself many time, have been trp topper for channel for months, revived dead 8 pm slot and recently too when ML track rose from pits .
They just need a basic story build up rather than repeated seq .

And trust me more than anyone.... AnuPre fans will be happy if Show is shut down 😆..... viewers this time do not want any other pair they are tired of this rail ki patri concept and makers want to stick to it 😆......so it’s better to pull off the plug .

KZK , AnuPre and Parica had their glorious time , they got fame from it and they cashed on it too ....

Considering channel wants revamp they won’t go for time slot change and will go for shutting shop . Toh ho jaane Do ....😆

This KZK will be remembered for AnuPre season ❤️.

There is a reason why SP India has Parth aka Anu being approached for all their promotions. So, kitne bhi log koshish karenge to prove that AnuPre is not working, SP knows what it is doing. Having said that, I will be one of those who will be happy to hear that after Sanjivani & KHKT, the next turn to go offair from SP is of KZK2. Because there is no use in dragging the show, if the CVs don't have the capability to write a better script for AnuPre & the third angles.

@ Bold - I beg to differ..if that be the case then why is the show Dipping in it's online TRP...Bajaj track always saw the show as no 1. or lowest 2nd or 3rd ...now its struggling at no 7 online....Ksg has many international fans as till date he is hailed for His Asad in qubool Hain...wenever there has been a trend for Ksg it has gone round the clock due to Ksg fandom...it's unfair to say his track failed to get TRPs..his viewership kept the show at 1.8 /1.9 ...1.6/1.5 was after he left.....! CVS mishandled his track by showing him overtly older that he was....once they toned his hair down n he came to his natural looks he started growing on ppl...by the time ppl tuk to him..the track was shut...if given more time...it could have brought in astounding results..It's Anupres Story yes but as Soulmates not Karmic mates..As for Parth being cald abroad for shows has lil to do with kzk2...his fan base has it's roots in Manik and his PR is Very active and strong...Every fandom views the mess from his or her own angle..but neutral audience Knos better....coz actually nothing is being served ..no track is being justified and every new male lead brings a new hope to the viewers but they are again disappointed as the story again wheels back to where it started from....it is very monotonus.

Keeping fandoms and “who works better” aside, I will like to put forward a point.

Anurag and Prerna are poorly written characters, so are Bajaj, Komolika and Viraj now!

Bad writing, bad storytelling and execution!

Coming from a huge Parth fan myself, I pity what a character Anurag has become over time. If I believe that he is the blue eyed boy and running the show will be completely turning a blind eye to how bad the storytelling is!

Anupre, Virpre, PreRish- NO COUPLE can hold a bad show together!
My two cents on Viraj-

Disappointed again as I really liked him as an actor.
I would really like to see something that does not involve Prerna going through n number of marriage rituals with 4th man in a row!

On a lighter note, she should be having a PHD is Sindooritis and Main kiski patni Hun 🤣

@bold- makers should come up with color codes for sindoors, for both Prerna and Audience to keep a track on which marriage phase the show is in- complete marriage (happened only once I guess till date), dhaga marriage, mangalsutra but no sindoor, pyaar wala shaadi, dil wali shaadi, dimaag wali shaadi, Viraj ke sath hone/nahi hone wali shaadi etc etc.. makes it easy for everyone.

On a serious note, I had never been a believer of Sindoor and Mangalsutra etc because many of my friends and even my own sister doesn't wear any. With time we things change but I equally respect who do. This show has become such a huge joke in the name of 'Divinity' that it makes me cringe more everytime a new kind shaadi is 'invented' and then to justify, a divine chunari is thrown out of nowhere, in an attempt to forcefully shove the idea into audience mind.

And you very rightly said- it's bad writing that's written all over the show irrepctive of any character..

I have never seen Namik before and for a first time viewer like me Viraj is definitely not the character to look upto for his craft and skills. I really hope he at least gets respectful screen space that CVs are unneccessarily wasting in Flashbacks EVERY single episode.

Viraj aka Namik should be given screen space as given to Bajaj then only see that how he influence the story in a a positive or nagative way. Just narration of his character in one lines cannot have impact on every aspect. Humply I can say parica aka anupre did nothing in name of leads except doing their proximity between themselves. Surely Namik is a big threat to male lead if has scenes with female lead like Bajaj had that's why even after 2 1/2 months no proper scene of Eri with him.

I won't comment about other actors as everyone is doing their job well which is why they are on board i guess but yesss i totally agree Viraj needs to be given equal ss like Bajaj track got. Only then we can understand if audience only loves AnuPre or they can accept anyone else too. Bajaj-Prerna worked in s1 because prerna was a strong independent woman. She moved on with Bajaj when Anurag failed to give her identity as his wife. Anurag and Prerna of S1 were not toxic lovers. There was a bond/concern between them even while Prerna was loyal to Mr. bajaj and loved him a lot. There both her bonds were very strong. Here that's missing. I'd just say, give Namik and Erica one chance to create chemistry, and then decide. That's it.
