That was the perfect storm lighting in a battle situation man. The buzz, main cast, trailer and the release date was on point. BOI said it would have been near 60 crore if not for the Sye in South and Joker denting in the high-end multiplexes. Imagine a near 60 crore Hindi opening day eh? I doubt it for a long time.

Then again, people here were mocking the idea of Thug's opening day record being broken earlier this year so who knows these days?!

will be easily broken since it wasn't an ideal release...cos of clash with less screens and shows ..

Sooryavanshi had that record if the movie was releasing on a holiday.

If Prithviraj gets a solo release on Diwali then the record will be thrashed.

LSC too has a chance as it's releasing on Christmas day.
