He should have said:' concentrate more in honing your craft, rather than only trying to be macho, muscular..as the craft of being a good actor will hold you employed in movies for longer than a muscular body/ look. But you DO have to look good to be a hero in a movie, so try always be/look healthy.'...

Seems he's trying to throw shade at Sallu and the guys he's inspired or launch which do tend to look muscular/fit/ripped.

But he got it wrong as h Ranveer and Vicky Kaushal have proven to be , at the same time, both good actors and 'muscular' bodies in some (most) of their movies.

So his examples are not right. Even his son, RK< pumped up irons and used his body in Sawaarya and in Sanju.

So you need to have a healthy body anyway, as an actor.

But yeah, is better to hone your craft as a PRIORITY.

Blunt is okay, just what he said is not right for everyone.

Tiger is muscles. He's had huge success with action movies without being an 'actor' per se.

Whilst I agree with you on the fact they are not successful because of fitness..I must say that being healthy/fit DOES contribute to their success.

Let's be honest : we all admire good looking/fit people.

Most ladies have to look pretty but also be fit- you don't really see overweight actors as main leads- not even in Hollywood!!!- until last few years/decade..

Heck, Katrina survived and flourshed EXACTLY because she is SO good looking and fit- and being so pretty/fit didn't hurt DP, PC and so on.

Let's not pretend the nepo kids aren't judged on their looks, either. I even admit to like Jhanvi more than Alia because she looks- for me- better both on face and body. Acting wise I think they are similar ...but Jhanvi might overtake Alia ESPECIALLY because she has a BETTER body .. of course, ONLY if KJO gives her best scripts around, like he did with Allu.

Tiger Shroff from newer gens is hugely successful and has very little to no acting skill. SO he is an example of being successful because you are fit.#

Then you have an Ishaan Khatter who can eat Tiger S. with acting, yet hasn't had such a huge success or impact...

Sid Malhotra is also still in movies , after so MANY flops, because 'he's cute', 'he's sexy' and part of Indian moviegoers love him for that (and probably because of KJo, too).

SO see? there are guys that 'get by ' just for that 'fit' /'cute' reason alone.
