Actors like Randhir Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Sanjeev kumar,Rajkumar, Rajendra kumar wouldn't have sustained for long in today's times..maybe even Dilip kumar..imagine not having Sanjeev kumar , Shammi or Dilip Kumar's movies to go back to

Rishi is known to take potshots and make underhanded comments about other actors so this does sound like a dig at one of the gym and fitness obsessed actors.

Anyways he seemed to have turned a new leaf...mellowed down with his rants and unsolicited advice. Hopefully he will not go back to sending abusive DMs to people who diasgree with his views. Even this is a very subtle dig/remark by his standard because he is not known to mince his words, so yeah, I will give him the benefit of the doubt and accept this comment at face value, just a friendly general advice not a dig directed at any one.

The dig is obvious....Tiger will still deliver box office bonanzas with Baaghi3 and Rambo remake while his son's brahmastra will fizzle.

This is what Bollywood created themselves. They tried to cover mediocrity with aesthetics and sell it and now it has become so normal that audience expects just that. If they would have just concentrated on talent and never tried to sell their nepotism ka products irrespective of whether they have talent or not, things wouldn't be like that. I personally don't like how actors are judged based on their looks either. It shouldn't be a priority. Of course I want actors to be well groomed but I first want them to be decent actors who work on their craft. Its sad the priorities of actors these days start with gym and clinics rather than acting classes. Wonder how far they will reach with that.

And it's cronyism. Their 'cliques' function in a weird way..with favors handed over and over. Look at prizes given to - I think ?- Sonakshi and Parineeti because they ..LOST WEIGHT(can't remmeber the wording, but the intent was to parade their weight loss as a 'success' of sorts). I mean.. CLEARLY they lost the plot by giving prizes for weight loss..No other ACTING prize is given anywhere for WEIGHT LOSS>

Ahh and they handed to Jhanvi/Sara/Ishaan/Ayush *Sallu's sister hubby* the 'ETHNIC prize'.

WTH are these 'prizes'?🤡

It's like they are trying to send subtle message:'' these are the people we want to win prizes, but we cannot cause we truly know they bad actors..or not yet great..so continue giving them SOME prizes ubntil we can offer them some ACTING things''.

I don't think any major acting industry gives the acting prizes to same actors, over and over, as much as BW has done to a few of their 'clique' buddies.

You might be right, as Tiger has done a 300 cr movie so he might be ..afraid for his son;s sake.

I anyway thought that the dig was at either Sallu or Tiger.

So Rishi either doesn't think Varun is a good enough actor or he doesn't like him for personal reasons 😆
