Sure,things could be different for them but that's how I see their friendship. You can't deny, no matter what their equation is right now, in the house if Sid truly cares about someone that's Asim, Sana is a different case. She's like one of the friend in your group,you usually don't argue with,not because you love them n all of that but haan chalo let them be, jisse bilkul nahin banti ignore & that's what Shukla tries to tell Asim but he doesn't understand it.
It's also true that Asim has been doing what Sid told him to but after what Sana did,him taking Sana back in the group,he didn't like that & as a friend everyone is the right to put their point across.
But they preferred to not talk clearly & end up keeping it to themselves,outsiders influence them a bit n next thing,they're fighting.
Sana just felt insecure and went away from Sid, doesn't mean Sid Sana's bond is fake..Asim has no right to get involved there
