EVEN as the grapevine is abuzz trying to figure out if this supersuccessful filmmaker is basing his upcoming cop-drama on a South Indian hit, we have some news about it. An industry source tells us the film is inspired by a real incident of the 1990s and the former officer has been given the role of scriptconsultant. Interestingly, a couple of movies have already been made on this real-life cop who was once famous for his encounters of gangsters. This time around, the cake is all his.
