Maine kab mana kiya hain but everyone making it look like it was only becoz of Tiger when the whole movie has been hyped about both . The actual movie is carried by Hrithik though. Tiger just pales and fades in the background in front Hrithik.

This is my first time watching Tiger’s work and must say the boy does get a lot of flack for nothing...I thoroughly enjoyed his scenes and the character he got to play as a sincere soldier...I just wanted it to keep on going along with HR’s Kabir...Alas! 😡And I will Stop here😡

i can understand... to be honest, I enjoyed the extravaganza in those last 15 mins... the movie could have ended 5 mins after the final twist but sid chose to add those 15 mins for masses and action lovers to ensure that there’s something for everyone... however, I realized at that point that some may feel its a drag

Yaha pe toh people like Tiger did it. SOTY2 bhi bb hota agar .... 😑

Exactly ppl should watch the movie before making comments..tiger did better than his previous outing doesnt mean he was very good..He blends into background whenever Hrithik is on screen..and then audience was craving for Hrithik too.. kuch bhi

War Sets Box Office On Fire On Day One

War (Hindi) created history by collecting the highest first day figure of all time. The film collected a huge 51.50 crore nett ap[prx on day one which smashed the records of Thugs of Hindostan which set a record on Diwali last year. There was new highs across the board as it sert new circuit highs in practically all circuits.

The highlight was Delhi / UP and East Punjab as the latter crossed 5 crore nett and Delhi / UP went to almost 11 crore nett. No other film has even crossed 10 crore nett in the circuit.Gujarat / Saurashtra was also a new record in the new tax regime as the taxes are up in tis circuit compared to the time of Entertainment tax. The single screen numbers are crazy as it was practically housefull all day across UP. Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It is easily the biggest opening day ever for Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff and has doubled the numbers of their previous bests.

Also the film was only released in 3850 screens in Hindi due to the competition which is low count for such a big film as it could have went to 4700 or 4800 if it was a normal release and you can easily give 5 crore for these screens. Now it is about at what levels the film will hold over the next few days as there will be drops coming of these huge holiday numbers. The regional versions of the film could add 1.50-1.75 crore nett as the Telegu version has netted around 1 crore nett.

Top Opening Days In History - War Number One

War set the highest opening day ever as it beat the record of Thugs Of Hindostan by a decent margin despite being released on a lesser number of screens and that film was the day after Diwali which is the biggest day for box office collections when records are set.

The film has beaten Bharat by around 10 crore nett which was released on Eid earlier this year with fewer screens. The previous best openings were Hrithik Raoshan and Tiger Shroff were Bang Bang and Baaghi 2 both of which collected in the 25 crore nett range and this film has more than doubled the number. The film is the highest opening for YRF as well as they beat their own Thugs Of Hindoston. The release was not optimum so this record has a good chance of being beaten by a solo release on a holiday but even then you have to have a film to beat it and these films are very few. The top opening days of all time are as follows.

1. War - 51,50,00,000 apprx (3850 screens)

2. Thugs of Hindostan - 48,27,00,000 (4700 screens)

3. Bharat - 41,62,00,000 (4650 screens)

4. Bahubali - The Conclusion 40,73,00,000 (3950 screens)

5. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo - 39,32,00,000 (4200 screens)

6. Sultan - 36,59,00,000 (4350 screens)

7. Happy New Year - 36,31,00,000 (3850 screens)

8. Sanju - 34,19,00,000 (4200 screens)

9. Tiger Zinda Hai - 34,12,00,000 (4600 screens)

10. Dhoom 3 - 32,48,000 (3650 screens)
