War was the seventh bumper opening in the 19 year career of Hrithik Roshan while it was the first of Tiger Shroff though a mention has to be made of Baaghi 2 as that was bumper in most parts and had it been a major holiday instead of a minor one then it would also have had bumper collections in the big multiplexes.

The last bumper opening for Hrithik Roshan was Agneepath in 2012 while after that had Bang Bang and Krrish 3 (pre diwali) had excellent openings. If we take out Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham the list below pretty much shows in which zones the public wants to see these actors. How eventually the films did is on the content but both actors have a huge audience waiting when in this zone. The bumper openings of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are as follows.

Hrithik Roshan

Tiger has got good reviews this time. He should do at least 1 more action film to show more of his actual acting chops then start experimenting a bit so as not to get bandwagon'ed :)

As for Hrithik, him and action has always been a deadly combo. He's just so good at it, seems to do it with such swag and ease, and he's so hardworking. He deserves every bit of the success he is getting this year! <3

The chela has his next huge money spinner in Baaghi 3 and Sid Anand's next in Rambo remake. I get it he ain't polished as an actor but as the person said above, his mass connect is massive now and has the IT factor as a quintessential Bollywood HERO. Let's see what he does. If he figures this "acting" thing out then all his contemporaries struggling to open better than him with their "abundance of acting talent" will have rough nights lol.

As for the guru, I really hope that Hrithik finally gets it. Do your self-indulgement to satisfy your "artistic passion" here and there, but it's clear your biggest audience base wants ya in "larger than life" roles. That's what created the hrithikmania in the first place, right from the word go. He's godly in these pan Indian appealing movies. The proof is in the pudding for all of us to see. He is back with a goddamn reckoning this year and now just carry that momentum.

Joker doing 5 Crores with 500 screens on first day is amazing but BOI is calling it average.😆

Hopefully BOI will not decrease the collections of War when giving the final figure.😆

See the thing about superstars is one proper opportunity and chhappar phat gaya....same movie without HR would have opened with low teens...😉.....Hritik in his elements could take the movie to 50 cr....iss liye once a superstar always a superstar😛
