I was just wondering, could her popularity be the reason that Mini gets max screen space and that she is never proven wrong?

I could be totally wrong but I have seen popularity affecting the writing so was just trying to figure out consistent imbalance in character growth.

Ashnoor has the most followers on Instagram because she's super active on it. Paridhi is not active on social media that much. She's barely active on Insta. Mohit has more followers than Paridhi on Insta, but Paridhi is of course more popular than him.

Out of the three leads, I think Paridhi is the most popular, since she played ekta's lead in JA. Apparently makers initially promoted PB saying its Paridhi's comeback show and a lot of focus was given to her. Twitter mein pata chalta hain. After Paridhi, its Ashnoor, and then Aniruddh because honestly he's being noticed more because of this show. Otherwise, lot of people didn't know about Aniruddh.

I think Mini is Rajita Sharma's voice. So, she makes Mini the most strong, sorted character of all.

I do have a feeling though this is loosely based on RS's life. I think she's a divorcee, single mother as well.... she has a son, Rahul Sharma. As far as I can tell through her SM, It think she's either married again or is in a long term relationship with another guy (maybe this is where the inspiration from HS's character comes from). Rahul also co-writes with his mother. He is studying filmmaking. I feel she gets a lot of Mini's character arc from her own son. These are my speculation based on what I have observed on SM, so I might be off so don't beat me with it 😆.

Yes, I think Babita sees a mother in NB. NB is the mother figure that she needs in her life. They actually have a relation of a mother-daughter. Both say their feelings openly with each other. NB bhi kitni daant karke samjhati hai... and kabhi kabhi Babita ruth bhi jati hai like when NB was trying to explain to her before that "pyaisi hun mein" song... but she never takes it to heart. Isn't that what most mother-daughter relationship is like?

That scene when NB-Mini were trying to instigate Hanita and when Hanita have that fight regarding his alcohol addiction and her SM addiction, I love how Babita tells NB "aap toh apne bete ki pervi karogi na" 😆... I want a scene where NB gets put in the middle of some silly fight between Hanita and both expect her to take their side 😆.

I didn't find that rude either but other than that, I don't know what else could have been perceived as such.

All the progress (however little it may be) would be completely thrown out the window. Once again, she's been made to feel that she's incapable of making her own decisions. And despite HS saying, the final say is hers, it's really not since he had shot down all her other ideas and planted this own instead.

Babita buri maa hai track is permanent in PB. Preet - Mickey getting caught will end up as that only.

Mujhe ni pata why Mini is always proven right. HS was also butchered during CD fiasco but Mini, never. So I was trying to figure out the reason.

Oh, I wouldn't want to change the casting for any of them! They're all way too good in what they do. As for Ashnoor, I have actually liked her acting a lot post marriage. It's just that during that whole shaadi track, Minnie started to get on my nerves and having her constantly in my face didn't help either.

Out of the three, Ashnoor is more tech & social media savvy. Paridhi as far as I know stays off of it, and occasionally makes an Insta post. Anirudh is also getting better at being active on social media since he wasn't so much before.

As for the characters, that's all on the CVs. I doubt the popularity of the actors have a major role in it. If that was truly the case, then Paridhi would have had all the attention from the start rather than it being split between the two women. Or Anirudh would have gotten a large chunk of the screen space since HS got crazy famous over time.

I also don’t remember Babita ever disrespecting NB. She would never do that. She listens to everything that NB says.

When Ruksar told her aapse bahot kuch sikhna hai. She pointed towards NB and said mein Khud sikh rahi hoon apne bado se and then looked at Mini - aur apne chhoto se bhi.

NB sure has her utmost respect as a wise elder lady. The only elder that she learns from.

Exactly. I have never seen Babita disrespecting NB so I was surprised to read that here.

@Bold: Sooo trueee. NB is to Babita what HS is to Mini 🤗. She respects NB a lot. I love watching NB-Babita scenes, esp. when NB was always nudging Babita towards HS. Also, did you see how it was to NB that Babita first expresses her feelings for HS. You are so right, NB gets through Babita that no one else can, not Mini and not HS (at least not yet).
