She has learned from the best.
I just know it that she's going to keep hurting him and because she knows he will do anything for her, she will continue to take him for granted. She doesn't think of him as her father, fine, but he's still her family and she needs to be considerate too. She has to learn a lot in this regard from HS and NB.
HS will never ask her to prove her worth as his daughter because of the kind of person he is. He's more than happy that she's in his life in whatever form, just to keep her close but she doesn't get this and won't get it until something major happens. She has to feel that she's about to lose him for good or if he withdraws from her when she does something next to unforgivable, before she realizes his value in her life. I am not blaming her but as she grows older she has to become a responsible adult at some point.
At this point, I don't think she'll understand HS' place in her life even if something major were to happen. That GP for example, secured her spot in the Haveli but it did nothing about the trust that she lost in him. I know she has exams to focus on right now and shouldn't be thinking about these issues a lot, but it needs to be addressed at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
And HS may not ask her to prove her worth, but as a viewer, I need to see it. HS has always been put in a position where he has had to prove himself. If Minnie has to do the same, phir kaunsa pahad toot pare ga? I will even go as far as saying that the Imarti track doesn't count because if it had solidified them as father-daughter, then the CD fiasco would have never taken place.
