Bits from the article about Sara!
For instance, when Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan was ready to step foot into Bollywood in 2018, Prabhat was the man entrusted with her launch. It was treacherous terrain--nepotism was a popular buzzword and the public was demanding to see faces that did not emerge from cushy lifestyles enabled by familiar surnames. So, Sara was introduced to us not as the next generation of Bollywood royalty (she is literally blue-blooded) but as a charming yet relatable girl next door.

“Privilege was an asset, now it’s a liability. If you were born into privilege, you will be answerable, you will have to prove yourself, prove that you deserve it, otherwise you will get flak for it. The idea of divine rights has been buried. Sara Ali Khan’s debut had to happen in tune with these new social realities. Ten years ago, I would have had her all over, all the covers. But that won’t work anymore. We presented her as a girl-next-door, ‘another girl from Juhu’, as she herself put it. You can’t wear the crown of stardom anymore,” says Prabhat, in between exchanging "Hellos" across the room with the familiar faces of Bollywood.
Matches with what half the people on the forum say about her...carefully crafted 'girl next door ' image...the namasteys , the auto rides ,etc
I believe these carefully crafted image work by PR bear some fruits only if the actor does share some resemblance to that said image/reputation.
Otherwise Ananya Pandey is a good example. That whole anti-bullying campaign did nothing for her.
So? Who doesn't try to be passed as one lol, if PR could solely pull of something like that then janu, Ananya, Alia n everyotger newbie would have gotten same love like sara, recently Karan deol tried to pull one did it work no? Sara is what she is because she is smart.. Ppl love her for her interviews, the way she interacts n is as entertaining as RS in an iv lol
Her wearing salwar, she always was seen in salwar, when she was kid, or grown up... Now also she dies the same n everyone copies her even Malaika was spotted wearing salwar to gym😆

Very well said! 👏
what pr..who cares about her.
I also think that one cannot pull off a sham of "a carefully implanted image" for too long unless you actually are a bit like that.
Besides, so many new actors tried to present themselves in a certain way but I don't see them succeeding. Sara is actually likeable whether people on IF accept it or not. She has a likeable personality and I find her quite genuine. And if by any chance, she is making up that image then you have to admit that she is a very good actress as she is pulling it off quite successfully for a long time now.
