I actually thought that was the only line that made sense to me, but the execution of this entire track has been sloppy, and I blame the CVs completely for that.

It would have made sense if they showed at least a dialogue about his predicament with Mini's situation post wedding.. but nah.. ye kesa jigar ka tukra hai when he cared about room sharing/honeymoon more than her?

They need to explore this further. It's not over yet.

HS is not a real person to be blamed.. CVs are anyways to be blamed for whatever any character does.. at the moment, Hanuman is the one at fault

Supposedly they had a night of passion, but like you said I didn't see that yearning between them. We are supposed to take the selfie romance as them yearning for each other 🤔. I wanna know how Babita felt after sharing all that with HS, and after their supposed night of passion. I need more introspection into her feelings at this point to understand her POV. Even a simple touch or a hug after coming back home from work or something will tell a lot about their dynamic. But nahhhh.

@2nd bold: Lol Mini will receive my wrath if she does this, and HS to an extent if he supports Mini.

Even if they didn't want to dwell on the act itself they could have at least given it a proper lead up or aftermath. The way the two were behaving, it didn't seem like anything significant had transpired save for the fact that they now share the same bed.

Loll, that selfie was cute but it didn't signify any sort of passion between the two. There were no coy glances, naughty teasing, or flustered smiles. The CVs have mentioned many times that this is not a love story but given the tumultuous relationship Babita has had with men in the past year, I presumed she would have been very sensitive to this aspect of her relationship. But I guess not.

The biggest problem with their portrayal of Babita has been the lack of introspection on her part. We're barely given a chance to peek inside her mind and when we do, she never follows up on it.

I can see HS giving into Minnie's request since he might want to make amends for his Veer Balika. But rather than letting them stay over at the Haveli, I would prefer if he found them someplace else to stay. Minnie can still go over and visit them as she likes but at least Hanita wouldn't be under any moral obligation to cater to their needs.

Not at all and if HS gives in for Mini also giving an excuse of a good Samaritan I will not spare him either....

Minnie is samajdaar. She understands that Babes doesn't want anything to do with the Khuranas. Hence, her intense desire of wanting her own place so that they can live there freely. Dunno how much of that desire has changed now that she has been given a warm welcome into the Haveli.

Also, being a good Samaritan doesn't always have to include letting people stay at your own home. It can also include helping them find a different place to stay.

I am glad they reconciled but for me the way they made HS do something so out of character like not trusting Minnie didn't make sense on the wedding night. Yes, he apologized but that didn't make this TRP mess ok.

I am also wondering why HS loves Babita. Is it because of her beauty? As a wife, she hasn't shown any interest in him, as you said, but I also feel the writing has definitely gone downhill. Dialogues are still great but the themes aren't being portrayed/executed in a manner that feels wholesome, like we've gotten used to.

Do you remember how we were wondering why there were so many late night shoots for the wedding sequence? After watching the episodes I have a feeling that they re-shot or added new stuff just to grab eyeballs and deviated from what I believe was originally meant to be a happy/decent drama-free wedding.

In line with what was happening the whole wedding week, in real life would a couple have still gone ahead and married? It left a bad taste in my mouth and Hanita as a couple aren't feeling genuine to me as they used to when they were just tenant-landlord.

Oh well, there's a reason 200 episodes is usually the mark around which most ITV shows lose the plot, literally.

It absolutely sucks that they had to do something like this during the marriage track of all things. I don't mind them bringing up his fatherly insecurities but the manner in which they brought it up was not right.

Tbh, even the reconciliation didn't have a huge impact on me. First of all, only HS apologized and attempted to show Minnie just what place she holds in his life. What about Minnie? I understand that she was too overwhelmed and thus was able to express all her pent up emotions, only through her tears, but surely she could have said something? We've had these two have very serious emotional conversations in the past, and in those, they both had something very meaningful to contribute. It once again seemed one sided to me. They better revisit this and make both mother-daughter express to HS just how much he means to them on individual equations. I.e., what does HS mean to Minnie and what HS means to Babita as two separate units. He needs that reassurance that the love they for him is capable of standing on its own without the other party. In other words, Babita's love for him isn't contingent upon how much he loves Minnie and Minnie's love for him isn't dependent on how much he loves Babita.

Honestly, I have no clue. I was watching some old episodes again and initially, HS saw A LOT of Imarti in Babita. Even though he says otherwise, I wonder if his ache for Imarti has still somehow bled into his feelings for Babita. I really hope it's not just because of her beauty because that would defeat the purpose of the talk he gave on the soul vs. the body. Whatever his reasons may be for loving her, Babita hasn't shown indication post marriage that she loves him. Taking out his clothes, and making his favorite don't qualify as love for me. She has taken zero interest in his feelings or state of mind ever since the wedding took place. The CD incident was traumatizing for everyone and yet no one has once asked how HS felt in regards to what took place. I know you said that there are relationships where only one person gives, gives and gives, but I really don't want Hanita's relationship to be like that. It's utterly unfair to HS as a person. He has done nothing but give to the mother-daughter duo. Would it kill them to pay a little attention to him once in a while?

No one would have gone through with the marriage if it had been anyone else. It's what Lala was saying, unka toh heart fail hi ho jaata. One conflict is expected in a marriage but so many? That too on the wedding night itself? Please no. Second marriages are supposed to be symbolic of second chances, and of someone taking control of their life. But here, the CVs did the complete opposite where the bride and groom were both miserable and had their past haunt them in an ugly manner. Like Babita had said, she had wanted just one night where she didn't want to think about the Khuranas, Ashok or anything related to her past. And what happened instead? They all came before her in a seemingly mocking manner.

I agree with you. Once the marriage occurred, whatever equation Hanita had, has been warped in a really twisted manner. They honestly felt more like a couple before the wedding took place. They were comfortable around each other, bickered, joked and teased one another, came to each other with their woes and got needed advice. In some respects, they even loved each other more than they do now.

It's a real shame that this had to happen to the show. Oh well. I guess this serves me right for having expectations from them.

They've been doing their chores by themselves and it's Patiala, Minnie can go visit them anywhere on her scooty.

They do NOT need to be shifted to the haveli. Please don't tarnish the haveli too!

I think we're all assuming that they're going to shift to the Haveli. Who knows, they might end up finding a place of their own. And honestly, I don't know what problem Irfaan has with them considering they've been paying rent and have been helping around the house in whatever way they could.

He will continue to give until one day he becomes empty. I still don't understand why he had to ' take test of love' . Will Babitha take it at some point?
