Sonam vs Shraddha vs Katrina, best of the worst A lister. - Page 2

Sonam is A-lister? She only survived because of her dad and Kat survived because of her sugar daddy. I choose Sharadda although I am not her fan and I don’t know if she can be consider A-lister but I like her acting. She can act better than the other 2 barbie dolls. Loved her acting in Haseena Parkar. At least, she was able to give 100 crore on Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villian without top heroes unlike Sonam that can’t give hit movies on her own.

Sonam Kapoor doesn't know what acting is. Standing in front of a camera and forcing an expression while reading your dialogues is not acting. You have to imbibe the characteristics of the role. She does try very hard but it doesn't work. However she was very good in Neerja. But even in that film, she wasn't required to display the widest range of emotions. Playing a damsel-in-distress / ditsy princess in every film would be a smaller problem if she at least did it well. But she doesn't. She's very lucky to have had so many opportunities because of her vast network of film connections.

Katrina Kaif started to show promise about 10 years ago but then she ditched that and was happy doing action/dance sequences instead of improving her craft. Zero changed the game for her, that performance was outstanding. Let's see if that was a one-off, time will tell.

Shraddha Kapoor, out of all of them has that deep-rooted fire in her belly, but she hasn't fully realised how to utilise it yet. She really needs to branch out and try performance-oriented roles instead of being the side chick in big flicks. She can express very well as seen in Ek Villain, Haider. Even in a lighter films, you can see a conviction in her eyes and it comes across. But please she needs to channel it in better films.

Have you seen Bharat? Katrina was pretty lackluster in that one again. Zero definitely seems like a one off. She showed promise in movies like Raajneeti but instead of improving her acting skill, instead focused on dancing and looking good..

Each of them has their strong point like any actress actually.

I love Sonam in rom com (beside lately)

I love Shraddha in general.

I can tolerate both Shraddha and Katrina not Sonam... Shraddha is okay when she does not do dramatic scenes, in dramatic scenes she ends up screeching. My actual vote is for Shraddha.

As someone has said, I can tolerate both Shraddha and Katrina. In fact, I have enjoyed quite a few films from both Shraddha and Katrina. I liked Shraddha in ABCD 2 (performance-wise), Baaghi, Aashiqui 2, and even Chichore. Katrina was good in Namaste London, Meri Brother Ki Dulhan, and New York.

Sonam, I have not liked her in a single film. I've liked Neerja for the storyline but not her acting in general. She was the worst part of Ranjhaana - A film I was excited for back in the days, to see Dhanush.

What do you expect? Lol. Katrina is already a weak actress. On top of that, they cast her for Bharat at the last minute. It would've taken a miracle for her to do that role well especially because she isn't a naturally talented actress who can method act or act on prompt. She takes MONTHS to just perfect her dance moves for 1 song. Acting toh bohot dur ki baat hai. I think with Zero, she did well because it had relatable aspects to her own personal life at that time. The agony came out on-screen. But, I can still tolerate Katrina in New York or Namaste London over Sonam in any film.

Fair points, after Zero I guess I was hoping that she would keep delivering at least solid performances and critics for some reason really overrated her performance in Bharat (she got plenty of praise).

It's a shame PC rejected the role. She would have been much better..couldn't buy Katrina in this "desi" role especially with her accent. Then again the movie was pretty lackluster anyway.

Yeah Katrina is still better than Sonam but that's a very low bar.

Katrina was decent in Bharat, it wasn't a horrible performance at all.
