It was a suicide. Payal had come to terms with her one sided feelings towards Arnav and then gone on to fall in love with Akash. Senior Mr. Raizada had been under the impression that it was Arnav who had been in a relationship which he hadn't corrected and used that to exert his will. God, what a dysfunctional family. I think Shyam marrying Anjali was to ensure that the ties between the families don't break off, when Sia's truth comes out. I don't feel any empathy towards Akash, probably because it doesn't look like he really put his foot down when needed, but we can't discount his sufferings too. But Arnav is the one who has suffered, a lot, for no fault of his and he has had to carry the burden of guilt on too many fronts. Payal had walked in to that relationship with her eyes open, but I think the accident probably caused her to take stock of what she had gotten into. One feels bad for Sia too, she didn't choose to be schizophrenic, it's not in anyone's hands. Here the kids became pawns in the hands of parents who should've known better.

Its too late because she's totally in love with him and nothing is going to change that fact.

P.S: It goes without saying that Shyam was behind the phone call. I remember voicing out for one of the early chapters, whether there is a connection between Shyam and Rishabh because of the political background. It seems plausible.

Now that Payal's story is out, I feel so bad about Arnav and Khushi. Both have suffered a lot mentally.

Hope they find peace in eachother.

BUT, who called Khushi!! Who called Arnav!!

Was it really Rishabh!!

Or something else is cooking!!

I felt it was rushed up.....

Feel so bad for Akash and Payal.... Their lives ruined due to idiots taking the decision. Wish Mr. Raizada had realised something after his own failed relationship...

Did Arnav and Rashmi had a physical relationship ? Since he mentioned about being in a hotel with Rashmi.

The cat is finally out of the bag! Well, almost. Arnav feels he's responsible for Payal's death and incidentally destroying Akash's life as well. Is this the reason he was running away from Khushi, thinking she will hate him when she comes to know that he could be a catalyst in Payal's death? Silly boy! Like Khushi said, ab toh late ho gaya dude.

I am finding it difficult to believe that Payal voluntarily walked into the ocean with an intent to end her life. This wasn't the first time Arnav had yelled at her to take such a drastic action. Payal had been bold enough to follow her heart and elope with a married (may not have been her wisest decision) and had shown great courage and presence of mind when the accident happened. Although shaken, she managed to get Akash to the hospital and had the sense to call Arnav. I don't think she must have decided to end her life over Arnav's "Get out of my way" when the love of her life was fighting for his life. I suspect foul play. Two people who I think might have a hand in this mishap are Rishabh & Shyam. Shyam, because he didn't want Akash to leave his sister. He knew Akash would hunt for Payal once he's fine and file for divorce. Rishabh, because he had one-sided interest in Payal and her running off with her lover may not have sit well with him. It may also be a joint collaboration between the two. Okay, I'll stop here. Even after Khushi has accepted her sisters death as suicide, I am harping about all other possibilities that might have led to Payal's death. Clearly, I need help!!

I unnecessarily doubted poor Manav. I should have known, your "Manav"s can never be bad 😊 I hope Khushi talks to Anjali about Shyam and his philandering ways. I have a feeling Anjali is not exactly oblivious about that fact.

It's a shame that inspite of his own disastrous marriage, followed by Akash's, Arnav's father was again trying to push Arnav into the same fire. Some people never learn their lesson.

Yes as you said it is a lot to digest with the truth coming out.

Glad to see Manav accepting his feelings for Anjali to Khushi. Anjali might be loyal to her marriage and wanted Manav to move on knowing he is still where he is knowing his feelings for her. But Anjali deserves someone who loves her truly. If Shyam did a mistake he can be given a chance to rectify and both can work towards their marriage and make it work but Shyam is a kind of person who will not change from his philandering ways no matter what, it is like dog's tail can never be straightened. Was Anjali staying in that marriage so that Mr.Raizada will not be facing any financial problems and also not wanting to create a problem for Akash thinking not to break their marriage? Even now Anjali can come out of her marriage but still doesn't wondering what is stopping her to do so.

Was shocked to know Payal walked into the ocean in her full consciousness. Did Arnav's words hurt her that badly for her to take that decision? But didn't she moved on from her one-sided love and fallen for Akash where both decided to elope and live away from their family. It must not be Arnav's words that effected her though knew she committed suicide, something drastic must have happened which made her do the deed. Mr.Raizada used his kids as a pawn for fulfilling his purpose. He made Akash and Anjali married to Jha's siblings to solve his financial problem and even after seeing what his decision is doing/done to them still he wants to bind Arnav into another forced loveless marriage. Looks like people like him will never learn their lesson or even if they do they don't accept that thinking their decisions are always right. Arnav is the one who suffered the most among the three who had to go thru so much with no fault of his though Akash is no less who has to deal with his wife and her schizophrenia but he could have avoided that and stood strong in not getting married to Sia when he knew he is having feelings for Payal and would have talked with Arnav to know whether the feelings are mutual if not he should have wooed her. After all, that happened Arnav is feeling guilty thinking it is because of him Payal committed suicide. Wondering was this guilt and thinking Khushi will hate him made Arnav push Khushi away not knowing it's too late as Khushi said for her to hate him.

Yea I assumed the alibi part ( please don't get offended for me not remembering, it's my stressed out brain, nothing else )

But I am confused about the timeline. So when Payash were gonna elope, Rashmi was already married ?

Were they ever in a physical relationship, during the dating period ? If yes then wouldn't it be awkward for them to be so casual later. Esp after Khushi came into the picture ?

Wow wow... Too many things... Though I had anticipated something like arnav taking everything on his head to protect Akash.. the way it unfolded was just "woah there" kinda thing!

I still wonder if payal committed suicide or was there something more to it... Shyam's name is popping up everywhere... I wonder what kind of Revelations that would be...

I am still wrapping my head around this update... Fantastic one...!

I really pity kushi at this point of time... Poor girl has just been told too much to take kinda information!

I hope she can find it in her to understand arnav and they can come to a truce..

What did kushi mean by "it's too late now arnav?"

That she has already fallen in love with him and can't help it or it was not possible to be with him ?

I hope it's the former one!
