As a part of promotions for Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan's The Zoya Factor, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor have revealed their extraordinary lucky charms. Read below to find out..

Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan’s The Zoya Factor is all set to hit the theatres this Friday and the lead cast is currently on a promotional spree for their upcoming film. The drama romance is based on a young girl who becomes the good luck charm for India's cricket team during the World Cup. And as a part of a promotional campaign, Sonam has asked her industry friends to reveal the lucky charms in their life. Sonam’s dear friends Alia Bhatt and beau Ranbir Kapoor, both revealed their lucky charms in a video, shared by the actress.

In the video shared by Sonam, her Sanju co-star Ranbir talks about his lucky charms: the first one being digit 8 which also happens to be his mother Neetu Kapoor's birthday and the other one, a red mail truck.

“When I used to go to school and would see a red mail truck on my way, I used to cross my fingers, shut my mouth and make a wish and until I saw three black cars on the road, I didn’t uncross my fingers or speak a word.

"Usually when I was successful in spotting three black cars before reaching school, strangely all my wishes came true. And this went on for a very long time until I naturally stopped when they stopped coming true," says Ranbir in the video.

RK also stated that his mom Neetu Kapoor’s birthday also falls on the 8th, and fell in love with the design of the number and also the fact that can mean infinity.

Sonam shared the video on her social media Sonam and wrote, “My good friend, Ranbir Kapoor has just sent this sweet video of his lucky charm! Thank you so much mere Sanju! Tell me your lucky charms using the hashtags below! May the luck be with you!#WhatsYourLuckyCharm #TheZoyaFactor.”

Besides Ranbir, Alia Bhatt too made up a video talking about her lucky charms. She revealed that "acting out specific situations" that she really wants in front of her bathroom's mirror really worked for her. She gave an example of winning an Oscar Award and preparing her speech in front of a mirror. "If I want something really bad like an award or a film or maybe a holiday, I just act out that particular situation by myself in my bathroom in front of my mirror. That's my lucky charm... Pretending, acting to myself and putting the energy out there," she said in the video.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Zoya Factor is based on the book by Anuja Chauhan of the same title and is slated to release on 20 September 2019.
