Sonakshi Rastogi is a popular television actress; chirpy and dreamy, she lives in the world of fiction and magic. Dedicated in their own fields, the two are broken souls with troubled pasts. Still healing, they meet and start off on a conflicting note. Through problems and misunderstandings, they start seeing each other in a new light, slowly forming a bond of support, trust and friendship.

In order to escape the Sippy family's pressure on him to get married, Rohit and Sonakshi fake being in love and pretend to be dating each other.
