He snarled as his hand hit the desk with a loud smack. He felt the pain travel through the nerves from his hand, climbing through his forearm, all the way up to his shoulder. His hand burned with pain but he could not care less. Something else was burning more hot than ever inside of him than just his hand. He closed his eyes as he fisted his hands in complete rage.
He never met someone infuriating as her. He gritted his teeth and bit back his tongue, ready to unleash numerous swears out of his mouth. He opened up his deep, dark eyes and stared forward into the darkness that his office was enshrouded in.
Sonakshi Rastogi.
She had crossed all limits of his, trying to prove her innocence about sabotaging Pooja's performance. Everything pointed towards her, yet deep down, he could feel she was telling the truth. Her tears.. her cries.. it all screamed innocence from her. Oh how he wished he wasn't able to understand her so well. He growled in frustration as he threw everything off his desk. It drove him crazy, she drove him crazy.
He felt himself close his eyes as he reimagined her in front of him. Her sensual lips, her doe eyes showing her innocence, her bodacious body...
He groaned as he felt the strings of arousal pulling him, frustrated on how this woman was driving him insane. No one had made him feel like this in four years. He huffed and paced around his office. She challenged him endlessly, she never budged even a centimetre for him (although he never budged for her either). There were times where Rohit had the urge to choke her for her stupidness, and then there were times where all he wanted was to push her against the wall and kiss her to shut her blabber mouth up. She made him crazy.
He would kill the men around her if she cried in pain because of them. He almost killed Karan the night he found her running from him into his arms. He didn't want to let her go, but as soon as he saw her tears of pain, his vision went red and the only thing that brought him back was Sonakshi's pleads for him to stop. He would destroy Sumit if he saw him touch even a single hair of Sonakshi's head.
He did not want to love her, he didn't have any intention in the beginning. He thought he hated her, he wanted to hate her and her stupid no logic attitude. He wanted to hate her stupid serial and her stupid daydreaming about life. But he couldn't. She wormed her way into his cold and broken heart and started a spark that now even she could not handle.
They say there is a fine line between love and hate. Rohit could see clearly which one side he was on, a side he didn't expect he would be on.
He knew she was his, but he didn't want her. But he had no choice. His heart won over his mind and now he had to have her.
Sonakshi Rastogi.
You infuriate me, but you also bring out the love in me I never thought I could have again.
He sat back in his chair and stared outside of the window towards the starry night sky, the moon shining down on the city in front of him. He felt the rage inside of him transform into peace. And then it was quiet.
