As far as I am concerned, all the elders failed the family in this track, be it maheshwaris or rajvanshs. Yes bade papa tried but he should have put his foot down. He should have slapped some sense into badi ma, Shaurya and someone should have asked Varsha if she really treats kuhu as her daughter as she is letting her walk to doom with eyes wide open. Ananya is a girl of today. She saw how obnoxious meenu is...even she can’t ask her sister if love will be enough to bear the daily torture and that she has not seen any unconditional love from kunal. And the most disappointing character in rajvansh house to me is nanu. What the heck does he mean no need to reveal if it isn’t a matter of life or death. So your pride, your family prestige is more important than someone’s life? Then what is the difference between those khap panchayats that endorse honor killing and you, the head of a family of successful businessmen/businesswomen? You have all the time to go “yo dude” but no time to call out your daughter for her ego trips or to come clean to your samdhi who is trusting you with their daughter. Like meenu and nanko, there is no redemption for nanu in my eyes after this.

Unfortunately youngsters like abir, mishti and maybe even kuhu are being expected to do the sensible thing where these stupid elders failed. While I will appreciate whatever they try to do, it will still be greater than what should have been done by the elders.

I have zero respect for nanu. I get where he comes from.. You have to stick to those people who have stood by you at your worse times. But his grandson is trying to fix everything and they are still not ready to open their damn mouths is infuriating... Koi jijhak b ni hai. Rone ki bajai Meenu ko pucho.... That dynamic is very ulta and toxic.. Hell this family is very very dysfunctional. No one should get married in this family.

Parul pe b frustration aaya bt atleast she's agitated and panicky.. More relatable.. I wonder what's going to break her out of her fear eventually. Kuhu ko bhi naukro ka treatment milega tab?

Exactly! Itna dysfunctional family that nidhi has started looking like the most normal relatable human being there to me. Abir toh sant hai, I don’t believe there can be guys like that in real life. I am frustrated with Parul but when idiot nanu is also not supporting her, I understand it won’t be easy for her to break out. It is not easy to stand up to bullies especially if you have been complying with them all your life.

And this is where I have a big problem with the show. Showing ki kuhu’s love is enough no matter how dysfunctional the sasuraal is not the right message. Like you said, I would rather the Maheshwaris had gotten the engagement done and then used courtship period to show kuhu how screwed up her honewala sasural is.

Abir jaise log ni hote. Unko sant rehne ni dete... Ye society and family members. Aise thodi na pyar hua hai muje😆 but I do know one or two of my elder relatives who have emotional capacity as well as intelligence to deal if such tragedy arises.

Agree 100% Parul has no spine, Nanu bothered abt family and Kunal is puppet with Meenu being disgusting to do something like this on another woman. One question is Kunal a step brother for Abir or they do not share a father?

Actually I have also seen cases where the family applied saam dand bhed and ultimately got the girl married to someone else and she went on to have a normal married life. So it could go both ways. In this case, they didn’t even try, trying hard enough toh door ki baat.

Emotional capacity and intelligence-yes people like bade papa exist who have it but somewhere they have a weak point too I guess(badi ma’s tears in this case maybe )?

I wonder what kind of a guy abir’s dad really was. Unless he was a physically and emotionally abusive guy and kunal was a rape child, I don’t see how he can be worse than kunal, meenu and nanu
