Chanchal comes down the stairs and sees Imli with the chai and forces her to give her the tray and said she would take it upstairs leaving Imli confused.
Dadi ji is helping Dada ji get ready when Chanchal comes in with the chai and takes their ashirwaad. She says she wants to complete her role as a bahu and says she would make his chai everyday from now. She then excuses herself saying she wants to check on Aayush to see if he had his lunch.
Chanchal tries to teach Aayush how to say his poem but ends up sounding horrible as Aayush makes disgusted faces. She gets caught by her in laws and smiles. She continues to teach a horrified Aayush and then makes him read the poem. Aayush reads the poem as Chanchal had recited it. Dadaji compliments Chanchal but tells Aayush to ask Aanchal to teach him.
Sachin asks Aanchal to teach Aayush the poem and Aanchal tells him that if Aayush wants to learn it from her, he will ask her. Aanchal tells Aayush that there's no pressure, he can learn the poem from her, Chanchal or himself. Chanchal comes and comes and says that she will teach Aayush and he will win the competition. Aayush leaves from there along with Sachin. Aanchal is about to follow them but Chanchal stops her and gives her her pay for her work and tells her not to come from the next day. Aanchal refuses the money and just requests that she can continue to teach the kids. Sid comes and asks what happened and Chanchal says she has decided that from today she would take full care of the kids. Aanchal says that she is doing so much for the kids already so she'd just teach them and Chanchal could do the rest.
Chanchal takes Jaya's name she just wants to do this for her. Dheeraj takes Chanchal aside and says he knows why she's doing all this. Chanchal says she is doing everything for her mann ki shanti. She asks everyone whether she's doing anything wrong. Aanchal is in tears as everyone remains quiet and she leaves from there leaving a satisfied Chanchal.
Aanchal walks home thinking about what just happened and how she couldnt fulfill her Mamaji's dream or do something for Jaya ji. She starts to feel dizzy and grabs onto a tree. She then remembers what happened in the past few weeks and breaks into tears.
Mamaji, Mamiji and Manu are talking about Aanchal and Mamiji says she is happy that Aanchal is happy teaching the kids. Aanchal overhears them when Manu spots her. She gets upset and leaves from there leaving everyone confused.
Chanchal tells Maaji to rest and helps her to the room. Maaji says she did well making that teacher go away. Imli comes and again shows off her math skills with the groceries. Chanchal thinks something is wrong but Imli says that she learnt from Aanchal so she cant be wrong. Chanchal suddenly picks up the gobi and says it's rotten and tells Imli to go buy another one but Imli says taht it's just fine. Chanchal tells Imli off and Dadaji sees everything. He tells Chanchal that she shouldnt have talked to Imli that way. Chanchal says that he shouldnt trust people like this and she would handle everything. She then takes Maaji inside.
Aanchal apologizes to Jaya's picture saying she wasnt able to fulfill her promise. Episode ends on Aanchal's tear-stained face.
