Super 30 Enters 100 Crore Club

Super 30 Box Office Collections – Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 enters Rs. 100 Crore Club, is his fifth after Agneepath, Krrish 3, Bang Bang and Kaabil

It has happened. In just 10 days, Super 30 has entered the Rs. 100 Crore Club. The film started well [Rs. 11.83 crores] and then managed to go past the half century mark on its opening weekend itself. Later it stayed consistent during the weekdays, which resulted in Rs. 75.85 crores been collected in Week One. However, what has been remarkable is the hold that it demonstrated in the second weekend, especially the huge jump that it gathered on its second Saturday, which has resulted in this feat been accomplished.

With this, Hrithik Roshan too has a major record up his sleeves, what with Super 30turning out to be his fifth film that has gone past the Rs. 100 crores mark.

After narrowly missing out on a Rs. 100 Crore Club entry with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara[Rs. 90.27] back in 2011, Hrithik Roshan scored his first century in 2012 when Agneepathtook a record opening for him and then went past the century mark. This was followed by Krrish 3 and Bang Bang, both of which were massive and continued Hrithik Roshan’s century making streak in 2013 and 2014 as well.

2015 was a quiet year for him as he had no release to his name. Later in 2016 when Mohenjo Daro released, it couldn’t really cover the distance. However, the year after, he managed to deliver a success with Kaabil. The film made profits for all involved but one waited for an even bigger success that one expects from the superstar.

This has happened now with Super 30 which has done so well despite an offbeat subject and a rather niche treatment when compared to Bollywood potboilers that Hrithik Roshan is known for. It is now set to go past the lifetime numbers of Agneepath in a jiffy, hence turning out to be his third highest grosser ever after Krrish 3 and Bang Bang.

Agneepath [2012] – Rs. 115 crores

Krrish 3 [2013] – Rs. 244.92 crores

Bang Bang [2014] – Rs. 181 crores

Kaabil [2017] – Rs. 103.84 crores

Now all eyes are on his upcoming release War which is already arising quite some curiosity. Rest assured, it is pretty much seen as a Rs. 200 Crore Club entrant, hence promising to continue ‘achche din’ for Hrithik Roshan.

Super 30 Second Monday Business

Super 30 did well on its second Monday with business of 3-3.25 crore nett which takes the total of the film to 103 crore nett in eleven days. The film is heading for a second week of 35 crore nett which is a good number and a drop of just 54% from the first week. The film will be at around 110 crore nett in two weeks.

The best business of the film has come in Mumbai with collections of 32.50 crore nett till date and Mysore which is around 6.50 crore nett. The film has started to do better in Bihar after the first week and has 3.75 crore nett in the circuit so far which is not a good number but is comparatively the best mass market and Bihar circuit may do more than CI which is a bigger circuit for most films especially ones which score in big cities only.

Super 30 will be a HIT film unless the collections drop in the third week. The business of Super 30 till date is as follows.

Week One - 75,36,00,000

Friday - 4,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 8,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 11.50,00,000 apprx

Monday - 3,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,02,86,00,000 apprx
