I just checked Sara Ali Khan's Wikipedia history and it's confirmed. She was born in 1993.

I remember her being the same age as Alia Bhatt (also born in 1993).

The reason for her changing it, like others mentioned, she/her team thought it would be a good idea to make her age similar to Jahnvi's.

Same like Shraddha did when Aashiqui 2 became a huge success, Alia was on the rise. Shraddha was really born in 1987, but her "contemporaries" like Sonakshi and Deepika were far ahead, so it made better PR sense to change her age to match Alia and create a "young generation" vibe. Which has lasted to this day. We think of Shraddha as Alia's age, but she is in fact closer to Sonam/Deepika/Anushka etc.

Amrita Singh's last movies before her break were all in 1993. She married Saif in 1991. Why would they have waited until 1995 to have a baby. I believe Sara was born in 1993.

All we need now is someone to find an old magazine from 1993 which confirms it.

Sara is 23. In SKJ old interview in 2005, Amrita Singh said her son is 4 years old. That makes Sara 10 in 2005 since she is 6 years older than him ( Articles during Kareena wedding says Sara was 17 & Ibrahim 11 in 2012). So it all adds up.

Yup she was really good in kedarnath bt still she got flop imtiaz movie a LS n another one DD movie where she wouldn't have anything to do...

The article from 2005, the video confirms that she is 1995 born but people would still believe in wikipedia which can be edited by anyone.
