It’s like people can’t bring or find anything to bash her as there is nothing to find against her. So in their desperation they go and bring the same false theory about her making herself 2 years younger to bash her as the last resort. 😆

Hey thanks for that info - haven't seen that video. Hameshaa released in September 1997. I know it was in production for a very long time though. Initially it starred Sanjay Kapoor with Kajol but he opted out due to a controversy between his brother Anil Kapoor and co-star Aditya Pancholi who also replaced Jackie Shroff in the film.

I know anyone can edit Wikipedia, but I remember many many years ago, even on Google searches, Sara Ali Khan's birth year was always shown as 1993. This changed in 2017 when she was in talks with various producers for her debut role in films, and would've got a PR company on board.

Shraddha Kapoor also pretended she was born in 1992. There is a joint video interview of her and Alia Bhatt (who knew the truth) and the interviewer (can't remember who it was) but they ask about age, and the way Alia comments is some serious shade. Also during Aashiqui 2 promotions, they asked her if she remembers the original, and she answers it awkwardly because the original came out in 1990, she was really born in 1987, but pretended it was 1992. I remember on Twitter years ago this topic was trending, then all of a sudden they changed her birth year everywhere back to 1989, then 1987.

Raveena Tandon until this day pretends she was born in October 1974. When in fact it's more likely to be 1969. I've even tweeted her about this and she replied, lol.

Heroines have a shelf life in this industry, am not surprised that most of them have to mask their ages. Like people say, in younger ages women shave off 1-3 years, in their 30s they cut off 5 years and in next decades close to 10 years, lol. Vidya Balan is cool when it comes to her age though.

Even in real life, I end up guessing women's ages based on their husband's (who almost never dye their hairs, lol).

Honestly I spend some time to find what year Sara was born , I know it’s normal for actresses to hide their ages because of sexism in Bollywood BUT I couldn’t find any solid proof about her been born in 1993 , all I got she was born in 1995 like I said in my previous comments

Something doesn’t add up it’s hard to hide her age when she is born for two actors. Doesn’t matter if she look older or younger.

So far we got ( the article in 2000 saying Sara was 5 , the recent video from Hameshaa set from 1996 Sara clearly is 1 year, her friend post in 2016 wishing her for her 21 birthday , her mother interview in hello magazine 2012 saying Sara was 17 , her graduation video from DAIS in 2013 most the students I know were born in 1995 what else? )

Wikipedia page was edited in the end of 2018 , if she want to pass as 1995 why they didn’t edited the page before and they could do that easily and locked the page. Even the date of the month was wrong.

Having said that we can’t ever be sure about her age until we see her birth certificate :))

I don’t get how can Sara hide her age when she was born to star parents. Anyhow, I don’t care even if she lied cos it’s not something evil. So haters bashing her for that are just embarrassing themselves and come across like those who bash Kat for her supposed past. They themselves look bad for bashing victims of misogynist and sexist BW. If BW was fair and women had equal opportunity and respect, then I would’ve minded if actresses still did that. But why should I bash the victims.
