Sara's impatience made her lose Dostana 2? Janhvi gets rewarded

Undoubtedly, the most popular debutants of 2018 were Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan. Janvhi made her debut with the film Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter while Sara impressed everyone by her performance in Kedarnath as she shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput. And since then an unseen competition prevails between these two newcomers.

Recent reports in the Deccan Chronicle suggests that it was Sara's impatience that could have played a part in her losing the plum role. The report states that Sara Ali Khan became impatient when her supposed debut with Dharma took time. She rushed to Abhishek Kapoor for Kedarnath, even which got delayed.

A close source was quoted saying,"Janhvi and her father Boney Kapoor surrendered to Karan Johar's decision on her career. She waited for her launch in Dhadak and was rewarded with starring roles in two other Dharma productions Kargil Girl and now Dostana 2. Janhvi is seen to be as much of a Dharma blue-eyed girl as Alia Bhatt. Sara somehow slipped out of Karan Johar's range of affection. That's why no matter how hard Kartik Aaryan may have lobbied for Sara to be in Dostana 2, it was Janhvi who bagged the role opposite him."

If the recent reports are true, Kartik and Janhvi won't be romancing each other in the film. The duo will be seen playing siblings who have the same love interest in the film which has got all of us more excited.

Sara will grab more good roles and good scripts than movies like Dostana. She will not need Kjo like Jhanvi.

Till now jahnvi definately have better scripts. (Biopic, horror comedy with double role, dostana, takht)

Sara has aaj kaal which seems to be more around kartiks character. And she wont have much to do in coolie remake.

I don't think Kartik would have lobbied for Sara to play his sister. They are apparently dating. I don't think Kartik lobbied at all. KJo needs to stop throwing outsiders under the bus.

Jahnvi's role in Dostana 2 will be as irrelevant as Sara's in Love Aaj Kal & Coolie remake. 😆

Kartik with his acting power & screen presence will be the shining star in both these movies.. Kartik always overshadows his co-stars, be it Panchama series, Sonu Ki Titu or Luka Chhupi.
