MC Sher of Gully Boy is roaring! Just a few hours back we exclusively told you that Siddhant Chaturvedi has signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films and Bunty Aur Babli sequel will be the first film out of the deal. Now, Peepingmoon.com has learned that Siddhant has also signed a film with Excel Entertainment who launched him in the showbiz world.

According to a trade source, "Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani will be teaming up with Siddhant again after Inside Edge and Gully Boy. However, it's not a spin-off on his Gully Boy character as speculated in media. In fact, the spin-off project is not even happening as neither Zoya nor Siddhant wants to revisit the rap world so soon. Although they are planning a sequel likely to be set in Delhi this time around, it doesn't seem happening anytime soon." Siddhant's film with Excel will rather be an action film. "It's a huge action project and will go on floors at the end of this year after Siddhant is done with Bunty Aur Babli sequel. Siddhant will be trained in Taekwondo and other martial arts for this particular project so that he looks convincing while performing the action sequences. The other details of the project are yet unknown."

The breakout star is apparently flooded with film offers. We even heard that he has turned down as much as half a dozen projects since Gully Boy's release in February. The actor apparently wants to prove his battle as a lead hero now and is looking for only solo hero films. Excel Entertainment's action project also has him as the only male lead.

"I am not related to anyone in the film industry and I can't afford to miss the flight. I am an outsider, there is nepotism and other things also happen. I am taking time to read scripts. I happen to read at least three to four scripts a week. I want to prove myself in a lead role and that script has to be bang on, so I take time to choose the right one. I believe every film is your first film. I haven't done much, I am yet to prove myself," the actor had recently said.
