If it is Shyam, he spent the whole day talking to Khushi sweetly and Arnav did not bother about it.

On the other hand, he was a bit envious when Akash showed some concern for Khushi years ago. On top of that he does not even want Khushi to go back and work with him.

I assume when Manohar proposed marriage between Khushi and Arnav, despite knowing Khushi's feelings for Akash, Garima approved the marriage. There could be three reasons.

• She was certain that Khushi's feelings are just platonic and not blossomed into full pledged love or not reciprocated and she was also certain that Akash can't be a good husband. May be she knows more about Akash.
• For some reason, she did not approve of the free gifts (Priya and Payal)which are part of the alliance with Akash.
• She is actually supporting/protecting Arnav the way Shashi supported/protected Arti and she was sure about her daughter's capabilities

My only concern is, Khushi is ~26 years old and has a say in her own marriage. If she is naive, isn't it better to tell her before hand? Khushi is a criminal lawyer and has been taking care of her family since Shashi passed away. She should be given some credit.

Does Garima know more about Shyam, which made her overlook the court case Manohar and probably Shashi fought years?

Now that was some food for thought.

Btw, Khushi is almost 28. And no, she didnt voice her opinion for various reasons. chapter 6 and 7 will tell you why and why not.

As for the reasons of Garima picking Arnav over Akash, the first two make sense, but not the third. That was probably what was on Manohar's mind more.

But yes, the alliance did put a lot of issues to end, for Manohar and Garima, at least.

It seems Arnav is aware of is "friends" no good ways but he wants to spite his stepfather and his family why he is doing this and also to hurt Akash why he married Khushi even though he loves her. Garima seems to know all about the family why she made Khushi marry Arnav. Everyone seems to be trying to use Khushi as a pawn to get to someone else. Can't wait for the next chapter.

No one is using Khushi, they all love her in their own distorted ways.
