Nargis and Abbas think the meeting did not go well. Khushi was a little too forthcoming. Now they are all worried about her being rejected.
But they don't know that dadi begum wanted someone with a spine.

Arnav is intrigued by her. He has met the typical girls with no opinions, but this one delivers them with no shame. She know who she is and what she likes.
Hello, What's the word limit for posting in an existing thread? I've been unable to post chapters of my story, and I'm wondering if it's because of the word count. My chapters usually range from 3,000 to 5,000 words. Could someone please assist? Thanks you.
Is it possible to split the chapter into multiple posts? I have seen writers do that. Not sure what the limit is.
Brilliant beautiful intriguing story. I haven't been active in the forum since 2016. I am apprehensive of this website and its system.
But your story is so beautiful. It is available only in this platform so I must endure. Sorry if my comments are haphazardly...I'm terrible at expressing myself. Unlike Khushi.. Khushi is fabulous at expressing herself. I hope Arnav is already bewitched and enamoured with her.
I adored their banter and witty exchanges.
I love the way you describe food. galouti kabab sheermal qorma yakhni...it's 1;26 am and I feel pangs of hunger.
The setting is beautiful. I have always been fond of Arnav and Khushi in historical setting. Immensely Enjoyed the 6 chapters I read so far. Enjoyed Arnav and Khushi's every meeting. Especially the first one. Although they spoke extensively in the third one.
Khushi's appearance at the court ...I am out of words. The courtiers were out for her blood. I believe they being discourteous. They asked many invasive questions and implied terrible things about Khushi.
I can't believe they were so transparently hostile to Khushi.
I can't wait for them to be put into their place.
Waiting for more such moments...
Is it only me or did it feel like that because of the courtiers' discourteous behavior Khushi became angry and directed her ire to Arnav..
I enjoyed their exchange BUT it did seem that Khushi started to argue with Arnav just for the sake of arguing... perhaps I misunderstood.
Anyway, I stop writing here. I thoroughly enjoyed these chapters and look forward to more.
