"What?"

"You heard me, I don't need you anymore with me, you'll work for Mr Ahmad from now on." Ruhaan said without looking at Mishti, too busy typing something on his lap top.

"But....Ruhaan..."

"It's Mr Rajvanshi to you, Miss Khanna. You may leave now" his tone didn't leave any room for arguments. Mishti knew he was mad at her but never in her dreams had she ever thought that he'll go to this extent to punish her....

"KARMA HITS YOU HARD, DEAR GIRL"

"Now you come? Where have you been all these days when I needed you so much?" Demanded Mishti.

"YOU DO REALIZE I HAVE OTHER WORK TOO, DON'T YOU MISHTI?" asked God amusingly

"Well, you're my best friend and it's you....."

"What the hell are you blabbering about? Didn't I tell you to leave already?" Ruhaan said exasperatingly

"Look what you did!!" Mishti muttered under her breath then she spoke loudly, too loudly "yes, yes you did.....so I am going out, and if someone wants to talk to me then he can follow me!" she looked around her and above her head at the ceiling. Ruhaan gave her an utter disgusted look and said

"You want me to follow you, so you can accuse me of molesting you again?" He spoke so softly, barely moving his mouth. His jaw was ticking constantly and she knew he was beyond angry......it's better to flee now Mishti, or the Satan will be awake soon!!

"YES, I WOULD ADVISE THE SAME, MISHTI"

"Oh, shut up already! It's all your fault"!!

"What did you say?" Ruhaan started rising from his chair.....

"I said, have a good day sir" she replied hastily and fled from there as though her life was in peril.

"Well, tell me something! I'm open to suggestions!" Mishti huffed sitting on the chair in her new cabin.

"ARE YOU NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK? FOR AN HOUR AND HALF YOU'RE JUST SITTING, STANDING, PACING, TALKING, HUFFING THEN SITTING AGAIN" said God matter of factly. Mishti didn't find it amusing though

"Well, I am working!!"

"ONE MUSTN'T TELL LIES"

"Go o hell...!!" Mishti was real angry now

"ONE MUSTN'T CURSE EITHER"

"what will you take to go from here? Come when you can be a less crancky and more civil" she said sarcastically

I am being cranky? This girl is too much for my peace of mind! Thought God and took his leave silently.

"What do I do now? Oh God!!" Mishti said rubbing her temple, a headache was forming there. The phone rang and she willed herself to receive and talk politely

"Rajvanshi and Sons, how may I help you?"

"You're the same girl, aren't you?" Mishti heard a famiar seductive voice and the chill ran up her spine

"I'm afraid, I'm not following you ma'am"

"Oh, cut the crap! I know you're the same girl, your voice is same! Now you listen and you listen well, how dare you mess up my date with Ruhaan! You little tramp! I know the likes of you, your kind....."

"Shut the f**k up!!" Roared a voice Mishti wasn't expecting to hear but was such a relief to her that she almost cried with the joy. She didn't know how but somehow the phone had connected with Ruhaan's office and he was listening to the whole conversation it seemed.

"Ru- Ruhaa...how..." Stammered then seductive voice sounding scared as hell now.

"Say one more word against Mishti, I dare you Shanaya!" He sounded so dangerous that even Mishti felt a chill run through her spine.

"I....I didn't Ruhaan the girl...she's a gold dig..."

"Now you're finished" and with that Mishti heard the speaker in ruhaan's office get thrashed! He must've thrown the phone.....Mishti ran to his office.

Without knocking she entered the room and saw the scattered pieces of landline on the floor, she also saw Ruhaan's hand.....and the blood dripping from it. What the...!!

"What the hell did you do? Oh God!" She took his hand in hers and examined the wound, his knuckles were cracked and an angry purple colour was forming, swelling up double to their normal size. Her heart went out to him...but suddenly he snatched his hand away and strides towards the door, pausing at the door he said without turning to her

"Wouldn't want you to think I'm molesting you Miss Khanna" and with that he went out and slammed the door behind him.

I'm sorry, I o ow it was very short.....but a surprise is waiting for you all in the next chapter💜💜😘😘😘
