Disappointed

Disappointed on all levels...I expected much more than this in writing, direction, acting, editing everything. This was the most important n crucial episode till date n it was definitely not upto the mark.

I never expected jhanvi to be mahaan. She didn't care about involving innocents in her revenge too, so I didn't expect her to melt down or anything. But the lady who's hands were shaking to pull a trigger when her sister's life was at stake, just a week ago or so, now easily, like very very easily put the place on fire to burn someone alive. I can not digest this progress. I would have taken this had they shown that jhanvi was baffled due to sudden turn of events n she wanted to complete her revenge before she is exposed n she did this in the moment. But I can not take this as well planned smoothly executed activity. Also, someone who knows the pain of losing their loved ones, specifically father, shall not really kill the father of someone else. I didn't expect her to attempt to kill PK, I expected her to make him confess or trap him. But well, I'll accept this.

Direction was poor too. Both jhanvi n PK were shot through that net most of the time n the net totally spoiled their expressions for me. They were not easily visible hence could not create a great impact

Acting was not upto the mark. PK always shouts horribly. But today jhanvi did the same too. Why was shrenu screaming n screeching like that! It was monotonous, first and it didn't evoke any emotions in me. Because I couldn't feel any pain in her due to all the screeching. Shrenu spoke through her eyes in previous episodes whenever her past would haunt her n that rage n pain could be seen in her eyes. Today I could not see that, she was only screaming her lungs out.

No words for the editing. What a horrible fire it was. Like literally red fire? Kuch bhi!

But I want to applaud for Zain. What a terrific performance. Right from his questioning Amma to smartly catching her red handed to his disbelief about what his father has done to shock on learning that his father is in danger to his concern when he sees his dad set on fire to his determination that he'll save him to his care of taking medical help for his dad to finally anger regarding what his dad did years ago n his frustration about the revenge saga! U never fail to make me proud Zain, in such strong scenes!👏

More than for jhanvi, I felt for Kabir today. Though he has hated his dad all his life, but he couldn't see him dying in front of his eyes n he was just a small kid at that moment when he wanted nothing but his dad. He forgot all the differences n saved him not out of humanity but out of his hidden love for him. Very well projected! PK is one selfish person but the way he hugged Zain n called him mere bete...it was an emotional moment.

Let's see what the revamped version holds for us. After all these events, I see no scope for scrapping KK. Truth is out n everybody will obviously trust Kavya now. If she is still kept out of the picture, it's gonna look very artificial as it is obvious the family will apologies to her for distrusting n humiliating her n would want her back for Kabir. She too will ideally give second chance to their relationship as all is well now, family trusts her n kabir has kept his words n proved her right. Let's see how it goes. Hope it's not disappointing.

You wanted Shrenu aka Jhanvi to talk softly while burning PK 🤣

Can you imagine anyone talking softly on that situation ?? , I watched today’s episode twice on tv screen , everything was perfect my POV

Rajiv , Ayub , Zain were good too along with Shrenu

PPS- you are Zain fan , it’s fine to speak about ur fav without putting others down , you did not feel for Jhanvi it’s ok.

Another thing - majority does not like Jhanvi bcs she is strong antagonist n more powerful than ML so ofcourse it’s not likeable

Writing has got better for a change after two weeks of disaster , again it’s my POV

I think writing sucked big time when Jahnvi couldn't pull the trigger to shoot Manohar. That whole week was the worst in EBSS writing, which is imo better than many other shows. So, I dismiss that week as inconsistent writing and don't count it as part of the show; it was obviously done to promote Kavya but backfired on most online audience.

After that week, the writing got back on track. Thank God!

I wasn't surprised that Jahnvi tried to kill PK. She has a house full of ash-pots for the Mittal family, and joked with Ishani about being widows. Obviously she intended to kill them. 😆

As for acting, thats again subjective. Most online audience, including ppl who were not Shrenu fans previously, liked her performance. I agree her voice is like screeching, because Shrenu has a thin voice, so naturally if she shouts, it sounds like screaming. I don't think that can be helped. She can't change her voice-box for a more.....masculine voice? That said, I thought her acting was fine.

I find PK very obnoxious most of the time, but I cannot fault Ayub sir's acting. Today it made sense for PK to scream, I mean, he is about to die, he WILL SCREAM FOR HELP. Thats normal human reaction. If I am stuck in fire, then I won't whisper for the world to save me.

Zain was good, finally he got a chance to show his talent on this show. Thank god for that.

I won't comment on the writing. We all know its rushed for the revamp. Thanks to SP. So, there's no point complaining rn. I've given up and accepted the rushed events, and surprisingly found myself liking it.

But I felt that today episode was many times better than the recent episodes. There was no any irritating scenes, unnecessary shouting scenes etc. The four actors did their part neatly and nicely.

Manohar was not her first target. He interfered unnecessarily across Jaanvi's path. The best player won't like to lose the king for a soldier. Maybe she didn't like to face the unnecessary enquiry until her task has completed.

The man who is surrounded with fire can't speak emotional dialogues. He can only shout to seek the help. On the other hand a girl who was hiding her real identity and who was controlling all her emotions for one year can not explain softly with the culprit that who is she and what is her aim.

The mixture of the anger and sadness will expose as screening and shouting. The face will show the sadness and the voice will show the anger. These two were shown perfectly by Shrenu. She didn't shout and cry with full face makeup. Her face also showed the correct expressions parellelly. She made me cry when she told the dialogue, " my father is no more" to hear your apologise. The whole scene seemed a real one. There was nothing the cinematic touching.

Zain acting is nice but his body language should be improved (my pov). His stylish mannerisms is not a suitable one for the serious situation.

First time I m watching Zains acting N now I can see his potential as I see him onscreen more

Makers did not use him properly initially but with revamp , we are going to see him more onscreen , just hoping writers give him stronger powerful role as kabir . I m looking forward too

Well the jharoka shots added class to the moment.

It was a good example of cinematography and somehow, it created that desired effect of Jhanvi and PK confrontation. I totally liked it.

Shrenu nailed it completely even in those shots. I could see fire in her eyes through the window.

Damn, that woman has got some real good bunch of skills 😎

And as for PK, I found nothing wrong.

Writing, I mean to kill PK has been her goal ever since. The Manohar incident may have taken her off guard but she's been preparing herself for this moment and striving for burning PK all her life. It's been her life to burn him alive, how could her hands shake?

She was more than prepared for the moment. I too have prepared myself for this sudden turn of events and I too am finding it amazing.

Just going with the flow without stressing too hard.

Liked Zain too, some really good expressions and good shots covering the intensity.

I cried during the fire scene. That could be possible if the acting is good. 😭

Screaming is ok because all these years she waited for this moment.. She must be keeping this all inside her for many years and it is all coming out as frustration anger and hurt.. Obviously I will SCREAM too if it was me.. And trust me I would sound much worse.. like a dying animal.. Lol😂😂

The writer was different during manohar track. The current writer is good.. better than the earlier one I feel now. 👍

Kavya is gone for good with her son. She independently took a decision which is keeping arush in mind. Arush is better off with his grandparents so she decided to go with him.

The episode was outstanding I must say.

Top scorers were Zain,Ayub sir,Rajiv and shrenu. I cudnt hear her dialouges properly. I will watch on hotstar again.

Kabir was in tears and he believed amma and cudnt help to feel for his father. I think he portrayed it brilliantly.

They hv not redeemed PK instantly which I like so much. He is behavING like a typical villian. I think Kabir will connect the dots and will not believe PK.

I'll appreciate if u stop making such comments. Just because something is said against someone that doesn't mean they r being put down or I m their hater or I m someone else's fan etc etc. So much assumption n imagination! I find such comments very very immature.

Where did I say that shrenu should have spoken softly? Did I ever say that? Someone must be a fool to expect her to be soft in that situation. She was expected to scream, not screech! N I would have not expected better if she was not capable. She has done better in past, so my expectations were higher. I have attributed my disappointment to the direction part as well. Since the whole scene was shot through that netted window, it was creating a hindrance n couldn't see her expressions any further.

I do not dislike jhanvi. Y would I watch the show if I disliked her? She is supposed to be strong character n hence I expect strong script for her n strong acting from shrenu. Zain has got nothing to do with it. If I was supposedly worried about Zain, I should have been happy with the revamp because he is finally getting a screenspace n some meat. But I m not happy with the revamp because the story is compromised. N I don't need to put others down to appreciate Zain. He did awesome in last episode n he shone bright, this remains a fact no matter shrenu did good or bad. The two r totally different issues n should not be mixed.

Lastly, I m not a fan of any actor n I m not watching a show for any actor. I m watching it for its story n I'll give my honest views whenever I m disappointed with anything n anybody. So please keep ur reserved thoughts to urself that I m a fan of zain n dislike jhanvi etc etc. I m sure shrenu will take this positively n improve, but I wish her fans too were as positive in taking the criticism!
