Here we go for the chapter.........

Chapter 4. Thinking about him.......

Looking at his retreating figure Naina stood as dumb, Preeti shook her sister and dragged her to another shop. She was felt worry for looking at her sister's hesitant, the one who chirped happily looking at him now lost somewhere, "I'll kill you jijaji if you hurt my sister again" she muttered herself promising.

She stopped near a clothing shop,her eyes sticked to a one specific dress, poking naina's shoulder she said.

"Naina.....Naina Woh dekho..."

Naina turned to see where her sister pointing and her eyes widen in shock looking at the deep neck satin nighty.

"Naina did you bought it?" Preeti asked nudging her sister.

"Chee.......Preeti why are you talking like this".

Preeti have a disbelieving look to her sister. "Naina.. don't say you didn't bought any nighty...".

"Why not Preeti I already bought two cotton nighties and one night suit.

Preeti facepalmed her self...and mentally noted to buy one for her sister cum friend. "Poor jijaji.." she said chuckling at Naina who almost running from that shop.

The night was stretched for both of them, where Naina flopped and twisted on the bed thinking about sameer's sudden rudeness. "did she did anything wrong, to make him anger? Or is he anger for not wearing the duppatta properly? She was sure that time he was not in anger but what happened later? "Naina Agarwal" she could hear his word continuosly ringing on her ears, piercing her heart like a sword. Yes she loved her name alot but hearing that from in his mouth it really hurt, after all her name going to join with his, did he forget that? She smiled.

"Naina, why jijaji behaved like that?", Totally you're like a unknown person?". Preeti asked sitting near her confused sister not able to hide her curiosity.

"Preeti he is not like that, he said nah he had important work, what is wrong in that?" She said convincing her sister and her poor thudding heart too.

Deep inside her heart she knew he was behaving different, didn't her friends told after their engagement how they talk on phone every night, how they sneak away from their house to meet their loves, how they wait eager to look at each other, their first hand hold. But what is happening with her no phone talks, no meetings, she wants to feel his presence every day but does he feel it too?, and her thought diverted to their unexpected market meet, "may be my love and marriage is different from others, didn't there is a say every finger in a hand is not same" a satisfied smile crept on her pink luscious lips and she drifted off to sleep thinking about him.

The next morning was chirpy and cuckoos started tweeting their morning melody giving serene to the atmosphere, school kids were going for their schools half heartedly cursing for waking up early, cassette shops for playing Gayatri mantras for start the day with blessings from Goddess Devi. Vegetable vendors were hawking to gather more customers. In one corner of the ahemedabad The most known business man Sameer Maheshwari was standing near his wardrobe, holding two set of dresses, almost messed up his room.

"Ufff.........looks like world war is better than selecting dress"

" You'll look handsome in this.." Nanu said picking up blue suit from his hand.

"Thank you Nanu..." Sameer said kissing nanu's cheek.

"Sameer can you come early today?"

"Why Nanu...are we going anywhere?"

"We're not going but special one is visiting our house.."

Sameer stood Clueless.." is your any old friends........?"

" no dear, I invited naina's family for lunch today, come earlier so they can meet you also"

"Hmm then I want to come late today" he muttered himself.

"Sorry Nanu, I have important meeting today with Mr. Varma, discussing about the new agreement for increase labor wages".

"It's ok work also important, but try to finish your meeting little earlier, she'll be happy "

" then I'll be sad" he muttered himself again.

"Ok Nanu, I will try..."

Sharply 12 pm a white ambassador halted Infront of huge white bungalow, Nanu sent car for pickup naina's family, Rakesh sat proudly on the car Infront of his neighbours, Rama was happy that her daughter's sasural was sweet and care. Naina was elated in happiness when her mom said Nanu invited them for lunch, finally she can meet him today she hopped down from the car her eyes searching only for him, Nanu welcomed them warmly and Naina bent down to get his blessings.First her eye caught the glimpse of small yet dainty garden well maintained with Mari gold and jasmine flowers with some green vegetables too "can spend free time here" Naina thought looking at the garden in front.

"Kush raho beta..., Come in.." he said welcoming them inside.

"Naina.....Naina keep the wright leg first" Preeti said chirpingly when Naina started to go inside the house.

Smiling at her sister she entered inside keeping her wright leg first, a narrow hallway was lead inside to the living room. Naina stood astonished looking at the interior of the house, moving further she took a more detailed form, white walls were giving a royal look, huge chandelier light dimly lit illuminating the yellow hue on the white walls, filled with photographs, the one caught her attention is a smiling child engulfed in an elderly man's arms, spreading his arms wide in the air, there is a small bicycle near them. "May be he got his favourite gift", Naina chuckled how happy was that kid without any worries, he was truly a kid now too with this thought her eyes wondered searching him inside.

".......Sameer had a important meeting today" Nanu said looking at her searching him. Her excitement and joy dulled and she smiled with heavy heart. Nanu felt worried for her. "But he said he'll try to come soon".

This time her smile reached her eyes, she knew she was missing him badly this was last chance for them to meet before their marriage. "It's ok Nanu work is important than anything,. I can meet him any other days". Nanu patted her head thanking God to giving understandable bahu.

Lunch was quite heavy, the wooden dining table was filled with variety of Indian foods. Laugh and love was transpired along with the foods which was lacking in that entire house. Nanu felt overwhelmed, however they ate variety of foods each & every day but there is something missing after his wife's death because he knew a lady's love and care can only make a home.

All settled on the garden relaxing a bit after a mouthwatering lunch. Rakesh sat on the chair with cross legs demanding and ordering ramdari.
" Oye ramdari my leg is paining, go get oil & massage my leg".

Ramdari stood mouth opened looking at him.
"Oye... what are you looking at me, you want to obey my order, Iam your boss too".

He was shocked hearing his words, it's been more than twenty years he started for working for jaiprakash ji & Sameer both were never treat him like a servant for even once, he looked at nanaji with misted eyes and he assured him.

"Rakesh ji ramdari is here for cooking only, if you want we can arrange an appointment for massage".

Rakesh smiled sheepishly and before he could reply Rama said "no need for that bhaisab, I'll massage his leg". He gritted his teeth and sat silently.

Naina stood Infront of a photo frame adorned with a garland an elderly lady smiling widely her eyes filled with satisfaction of life.

"She is sameer's Nani" . Nanu said with a smile.

"She is very beautiful Nanu"

"Hmmm, sameer loves her a lot..you know her smile is like thousand Walt bulb, it brighten our lives, after her death this house missed the sound of laughter". Tears formed in his eyes.

"Nanu, she never likes to see tear in your eyes right? Don't worry I'll look after this house and you both" she said blush creeping on her cheeks.

"Come I'll show you sameer's room".

They both ascended the steps which leading to sameer's room, Nanu left her alone giving her some privacy.

The room was painted blue with pictures of him on the wall. A small white dressing table with oval shape mirror was on the corner of the room & medium sized wardrobe beside it. One straight backed chair with a study table was placed on the other corner. Naina ran over her delicate finger registering every details of the bedroom soon to be hers.

She drew opened the thick curtains illuminating brightness Inside the room. Her eyes drifted off to the teak wooden bed on the middle filled with pile of scattered clothes. Thought of Him waking up late & messing the room, yelling for everything made her smile. She picked up his shirt, mere touch of holding his shirt made havoc inside her stomach, looking around here & there making sure if anyone is watching her, satisfied she slipped on his shirt, feeling his proximity inhaling his fragrance, His shirt over her body hugging her curves made her heart thumped forming unknown knot on her stomach. It gave a contentment and peace for her vulnerable heart. " I Love You Sameer" she uttered tightly clutching his shirt, she fallen in love with him even before she realizes.

Hearing some foot steps she quickly removed it folding and keep it neatly on the bed. Her eyes drifted to the sliding door which led to small balcony, it gave her serene. She watched with an unwavering gaze, the orange ball sank beneath the horizon painting the sky with mix of red & pink, streaking over the blushing clouds, slowly slipping into the horizon gave awakeness to the thousands of stars. Darkness took over the sky. Cool wind breezed her face. She didn't know how much time she spend on his room.

A gentle hand squeezed hers it made her feel the coldness of balcony railings.
'Sameer.....' she exclaimed in his touch. He looked at her before turning his gaze to the painting sky.

"I love to see sunset... It's beautiful like a magic". A contentment smile adorned her face.

" Nothing is beautiful more than you Naina.....".

His words ticklished her every cells, he intertwined their fingers looking straightly into her face warmth with sun rays. She blushed.

"Naina...........nainaaaaaaa..." Preeti jerked her sister calling her name.

"Preeti .....thum?......"

"Nahi.....Mera bhoot" chachi ji is calling you come with me.(Preeti is cousin of Naina here).

So the contract has been signed and Sameer seemed confused. I think Naina didn't read the papers or may be her mother signed the papers on her behalf. Because this girl is in love with him nd so happy. Sameer also cares for her but is not understanding his feelings.
