First of all sorry to every one for keeping you guys wait for a long...and thanks for the every comments and your love for this story.
Here is the next chapter.....
With each and every passing days her love for him increased, all days starting and ending with his thoughts, doesn't matter how far they were her mind always clouded with his thoughts. 'what he is doing now?,did he ate on correct time?, what is his favourites?, did he reached home safe? etc...etc....'. There is a mere distance from each other yet far from heart. She even tried calling him once and withdrew the idea when vishaka gave his number after their regular phone talks. She tried again on another day nervously and quickly disconnected the call when his deep masculine voice boomed on phone, "hello...". An unknown lump formed in her throat hearing his voice, she inhaled sharply before disconnecting the call. He is not less,he had recognized her in the mere sound of breathing over the phone. When she was thinking about him his focus was only on the paper which she signed.
"Naina Agarwal" he lightly caressed the name letting his finger tracing each and every letters of the name inscribed on the contact papers. "how did she signed it? that too after knowing this marriage will only last for one year, no bond of realtionship, love is prohibited and the marriage is a sake of drama Infront of this world".
" didn't she want this marriage like him? then she can stop this marriage making this as a valid reason?,then why she accepted this offer?".
"Of course pagal, you offered it with money" he smile sheepishly.
That day his employees faced his wrath for even simple things, throwing the files away, yelling at them for unknown reasons and the most cursed person was his PA Varsha,
"Sir.....your lunch time" she stood shocked when he entered his room, smoke fog filled in his room and her eyes darted over to the ashtray lying on his table nearly sorrounded with five cigarettes.
"Sir.........what happened?".
"Don't you know to knock the door before entering, he said mockingly."
She put the files with thud on the table."And don't you know this is office Mr.Sameer Maheshwari" she said taking away the cigarette from his hands. A smile crept on his lips looking at her care towards him.
"Sorry Bhabhi....I'll not do that again in office.......will smoke in home"
"Awww.... Your cigarette was prohibited my dear devar or else Naina will throw you out of the room", she said winking at him, his face fell again hearing her name. Varsha is munna's wife and his best friend from childhood, she is more than her friend to him like his elder sister.
"Sameer this marriage was planned suddenly but you have time to understand her. who knows one day she will be everything in your life, and you will ask us who are you?" She said making her fake sad face smiling inwardly.
"Bhabhi not like that....."
"Is it? Then I'm happy and please forget about your stupid contract idea, now concentrate on your work...".
"Ok..boss" he said smiling but he felt like thorn piercing his heart, what his friends not known was the contract was already signed, now he can do only was hiding it from them which is even hard for him.
While the other one was took her precious time to selecting every dresses for wedding functions mostly thinking about his choice. " Sameer weds Naina" she read their wedding card numerous time yet felt a strange feel inside her stomach reading their name together. 'Naina Sameer Maheshwari', how a girl's name change after their wedding, her name , her customs, her relationships, her appearance everything will change. Where the wedding give new relationships, it'll distant us from our birth bond, and want to put every efforts to sustain every bonds, difficult yet that was the world's cannon, almost accomplished by every married women.
Her thought was disrupted by a sweet voice. "Naina.................".
No boundary for naina's happiness seeing her cousin she exclaimed happily "Preeti.........tumh......".
"ah ah behen kaisi ho tumh, air Mera jijaji Kaisii hai?".
"Woh .........theek hai Preeti" tint of blush crept on her cheeks.
"Dekho tumara chehara Kitna laal hai, jijaji tume dekhle tho tumare yeah gulaab gaal khaega..... I'm sure".
"Preeti......please..." she blushed into crimson hiding her face on her sister's shoulder.
"Awww Kitna Sharmarahi ho Yaar tum.....".
"Tum yeh chodo, tumare exams kaisi hai....".
" Ohhhh...very smart...changing a topic ah, I'm proud that my sister tried to use her brain". she said lifting her imagination collor, suppressing her laughter.
"Ouch".....Naina smacked her arms. " Now didn't you changed the topic" she gave her a questioning look, before dragging her cousin into a tight hug.
"Naina, are you happy with this marriage, you like him nah?...".
"Like???????, No Preeti I love him" she replied shyly.
Naina was overwhelmed in extreme happiness at least her sister asked about her opinion about this marriage, may be the soul connection.
Preparations were started at their homes to celebrate the most awaited wedding. Marigold flowers were decorated on the walls, lanterns were hanging here and there illuminating the light, flickering bulbs were shimmering like a fireflies in outside wall of the house. Best saree vendor of the Ahmedabad was called forth to select best design saree for the bahu of Maheshwari family. Measurements for dresses were taken, venue was decided. Almost all preparations were covered in a short period of time, but a huge task was for Naina, packing her whole belongings into one suitcase.
The evening was beautiful, cold wind breezed out relaxing the people from scorching afternoon, heavy clouds were moving lazily to pour out anytime. exhausted street vendors were almost selling their products for cheap price to wrap up before it could rain. Naina and Preeti were roaming around the market for last minute purchasing. Whatever preparations we made, last minute purchasing was mandatory right?.
"Ufffo...Naina why didn't you bought this earlier?".
"because I forget it Preeti...." a casual reply came from her side.
Necessary things such as tooth brush, set of inner wears, sanitary pads, basic makeup kit all were brought to pack along with her dresses. She stopped near the small pavement jewellery shop looking at a specific locket, "bhaiya yeh dejiye nah..." she pointed out a pendant which crafted with 's' letter, swiftly taking it in her hands, She traced the letter on her finger, checking it on the mirror her eyes caught a glimpse of him roaming around with two men, laughing heartily which she never noticed Infront of her.
"Sameer........" she shouted with joy filled voice.
He stopped on his track hearing a harmonious voice, he turned to see the rightful owner of the voice and his eyes widened in shock, the next moment it reflected an unknown attraction towards her. He stood silently observing her face while she walking to him, for any trance of dry tear marks or puffed eyes what invited him was bright shining eyes and alluring smile her face devoid of makeup, "so natural......" he thought. His eyes made its way down to her neck along with the chain and to the pendant, where it clung middle of her forbidden territory yet unknown for him. Shock is the understatement he felt. Soon his eyes fell on the white strap peeking off her shoulder and her duppata lying carelessly on it. Furious in rage he felt an urge to shout at her for not wearing the duppatta properly, 'what if other men looked at her like that? An unknown feeling coiled inside his heart to protect her from evil eyes. Straightly looking into her eyes he motioned his hand forth on his right shoulder, she stood Clueless.
"hmmm.... duppata theek Karo" he said pointing his right shoulder again She quickly straightened her shalwar and wore the duppata both side of her shoulder covering her front. He let out a satisfied breath. Both stood awkwardly, somehow it was private for her and him too. curious arisened in him when looked at his watch struck seven past". And he knew how it's not safety for girls to came out at night alone.
"What are you doing here in this time.....?" For him his own word felt like alien. "from when did you started to care about her?,because she is a girl he said convincing his fluttering heart.
"Shopping jijaji......"Preeti said smiling widely at him. Sameer looked at her confused and "how she called him jijaji...that word was unusual for him, connecting towards her family, suddenly it remembered their contract and he stood coldly looking at her.
Seeing his confused state Naina replied." Sameer she is Preeti my sister she was studying in Mumbai that's why was not their in our engagement...." He nodded.
"And Preeti he is........"
"Jijaji........I know Naina" she said winking at Sameer. Sameer smiled looking at her little antics.
Just only Munna & pandit came back gobbling their share of paani Puri and looked at the girl's, arching their eyebrows towards Sameer.
Knowing their reaction he cleared his throat..."ahemmmm...Munna pandit she is Naina...Naina Agarwal" and she is Preeti her sister".
'Ohhh' Munna & pandit smiled at naina giving a formal handshake, somehow they felt worried for the way Sameer addressing her.
' Naina Agarwal' is she only Naina agarwal for him? Is she outsider to him? If he can't introduce as her would be wife at least he can say as his fiance". Blinking away her tears threatning fall she thought "that he might be shy to address as her his wife Infront of his friends". "Sameer" she called him again.
"Haaanh......".
"Sameer, we bought a red colour sherwani for you...if you want to change.........".
He cut her middle " sorry Naina I have some works I have to go now, bye" he left rudely without looking at her back.
Hope you guys enjoyed it........
