Honestly it doesn't really matter what you eat as long as it's under your calorie intake needed for losing weight. I also used to feel like some foods are just BAD. But it doesn't actually matter. Like you can eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner as long as it is not more than 1200 calories and still not gain weight...perhaps few slices of it, or whatever it is that doesn't go more than 1200 calories, but it's definitely not the best option because you end up lacking vital nutrients when you keep eating junk, also it leads to fat storage because high carb/high sugar food breaks down the glucose in your blood and your body starts storing that stuff as fat. So celebrities or people who diet usually eat healthy stuff for 6 days then on Sunday or something they have a 'cheat day' which are actually good for you because they boost your metabolism when you keep varying your calorie intake. Otherwise you hit a plateau and stop losing weight and get stuck at a weight when you keep eating the same amount of calories everyday because your body's basal metabolic rate (BMR, which can be calculated online) changes when you eat the same calories everyday.Originally posted by: _Darling_
I agree with you. Also, I think it’s not all about what you eat as long as it fits the recommended calories to lose weight. I do think it’s what you eat mostly because specific food do make it hard for you to lose weight. Same as some foods make it fast for you to lose weight. So even if you eat them under the calories which you need to lose weight, it will be hard to lose weight or who knows one may even gain weight. That’s why some foods are also high metabolism foods. So IMO, other than the calories which one needs to calculate and take, it’s also the type of food which a person should to eat more and may he restrict few and replace those with best alternatives one can.
