I actually think Karan Johar is the mastermind behind this. See there are no ladies left for Ranbir to be linked with - and with this alliance Alia gets to be in the news too

It benefits Alia a lot more to be with Ranbir especially after the failure of Kalank

It definitely hasn’t benefited Alia more to be with RK. If anything her image has taken a huge hit and she just can’t seem to be able to shake the negativity surrounding her and her “relationship” with RK.

I think everyone involved with this master plan thought given their popularity they would become the IT couple, the power couple and that will give Brahmstra massive hype before its release, not to mention raise both of their brands individually. Once Brahmstra becomes a blockbuster then it can sell the second part in its own popularity and RK and Alia won’t be needed anymore. No one expected them to be disliked to this extent and now I think all of them are stuck and don’t know what to do. At least Alia is trying to fake it. RK can’t even bother.

The masterplan has failed. Ranbir seems to delay movie release dates by his mere presence 🤣

Completely agree and I want to add that it is only Ranbir who has benefited from this PR relationship. Alia is the current top actress and "dating" her gives Ranbir the opportunity to be in the news all the time and get into the lime light (we all know he barely gets any films). His career has been a complete dud for many years.

The end goal of this PR relationship was obviously Brahmastra release which never really happens lol 😂😂 So RK is stuck with Alia for another year it seems 😂

The movie won’t come out for at least another year. They need to work on their presentations in public if that’s what they are aiming for.
