Sons are settled, obedient & happy in their own places. By happy I mean what is going inside house, none of their business. So with Guddu or without Guddu nothing changes for them.
But the bahus needed a saas to bring balance in the household & control the house.
Mainly the house needed a saas or else in long term 3 bahus with different ambitions going different directions the household would have crashed if one force doesn't bind them in a limit.
& bahus wanted saas for their own selfish reasons.
I understand that and mentioned in my post too that they are grown up and they don't need a mom and a mom who's younger than them, no less. I was talking about them having a bond. Nil interaction between them. If she's become a saas, it is due to them. I know bahus need a saas for the household to run smoothly and that was the basis and the entire point and sons are secondary in this case, but showing some bonding between sons and step-mom is important too. They looks so out of place always standing in the background with no lines to speak and nothing to do, just like mannequins. There aren't even couple scenes of beta bahus. Durga is so much obsessed with AJ and Guddan, I doubt she even speaks to Kishore. They should have some importance in the show like other characters as they are the reason Guddan became the youngest saas.
She's married to AJ, no matter the reasons to bring her in Jindal house, she has relations with every member of the house and so those need to be shown too. I wouldn't care if they don't show her interacting with Siddhi because she's not a family member even if AJ thinks so. She's irrelevant but the sons are not. If they are made to be not that important, that is because CVs have not given them their due else they would've been great supporting characters. Would love to watch their scenes with their Guddan maa and Papa and how they give back to their wives and be more involved in the household matters. And also this saas bahu, like I said, is meaningless when Durga and Saru are complete vamps. What for is she going through the whole improvement process as a Saas and challenges when bahus final destination should be jail. So if bahus are kicked, but sons will remain. Sons are more important even more so now as we saw the real faces of bahus.
