1.) If you remember, in one of the the earlier episodes Guddan was telling AJ that he didn't know how to run the household with love and affection, and ruled through fear instead. After that he gave her the keys just to show her that it's important to be firm and discipline or everything falls out of place. He also proved that he understood his DILs and their limitations better than Guddan did.

2.) I think Guddan's approach of being a friendly saas is fine, but she's confusing being firm with being mean.

3.) You can be firm in order to maintain discipline at home as a saas, and still be friendly and approachable so that your bahus feel your affection and have genuine respect for you.

4.) Guddan won Laxmi over not by her lectures or being sweet, but because she was firm when it came to taking action against Rocky. She showed Laxmi how to overcome her fear and not be victimized and since then, even if tough times (like at the hospital or now to face Bua's challenge). she has been encouraging Laxmi and helping her be strong. She was not just a friend but a mentor of sorts in these situations, without consciously thinking of doing so. Guddan has what it takes, but since she never received the right training from Kaushalya, her inner skills haven't been revealed or polished. Now is the time for this to happen.

5.) Usually I hate saas-bahu tracks and we have seen numerous shows where an orthodox family member makes the FL's life hell where she has to bend to her will or win her heart by meeting up to the buzurg's "standards". Our CVs have gone a different route, that Guddan has to politely prove her point to Bua but will also evolve her thinking along the way, resulting in a further growth and maturity of her character.

Bua has Kavada nature but she is Good person 😊I also agree after living in the house for 7 months, Guddan needs to read her Bahu beyond their outayer. I absolutely agree Perv is a freeloader, everything is given to him by AJ & he is ungrateful. I want Bua to warn AJ regarding Parv’s evil eye on his wife. 😈 I have feeling that seeing Guddan in saree, Parv will do some cheap Mwali acts with her.Guddan needs to gain her confidence, get rid of being intimidate by her Dils, use her Auda as Saas, where her instructions are carried out. AJ wants his wife to be confident, that in his absence, she isn’t trampled by their Dil, she needs to speak the truth to them & reprimanded them from going out of their Marayada. Guddan should use the voice-simiar to the one she used in front of Bua’s entry, if she has to get her work or order followed so be it.

Dadi Bua is here to learn something Guddan but also AJ, in my opinion AJ will have to stop advising Guddan what she need to do or to show her which way is right for her to go. Guddan will learn to be strict sometimes is not a bad thing. But she will also learn that she should not be naive. Guddan must make the decisions herselves without any help.That's exactly what is problem Guddan is living in that house for 7 months already, she needs to know how they are like people. Who is her friend in that house, which person is respecting her, who she is like a daughter. Guddan only sees good things when it comes to people who live in that house (Durga, Saru). After so many warnings and so many problems she has in that house, thanks to her Bahu, she still trusts them and is always there for them. That's a good thing, but I always say this Do not be so good that people think you're stupid. Absolutely, Guddan has proven that she is in that house to stay. If the Bahus gives the respect for the AJ, the same should be done to Guddan. She's his wife now, no more excuses. The fact that she is younger than them 3Bahus does not mean that, they do not have to respect her. But honestly Guddan must begin to demand that 3Bahu respect her. Like Bua Dadi, she asks for respect and she gets it.Bua Dadi is very open and strict and he is good for nothing. Hahaha. So Bua Dadi has to humiliate him and insult, it would be so good to look something like that. It's a big deal to me that Parv behaves like that towards Guddan. But then I feel so well when Guddan puts him in his place, and it's under her feet. AJ needs to find out how Parv behaves towards Gudden, last time he just beat him, this time he was to kill him.With this I agree with you on this. Guddan needs to be start to behave like Saas. Friendship is one think, and Saas is completely different.
