Why is KJo giving so many opportunities to Vicky?

Everyone knows that Karan always works with stars and is the "flagbearer of nepotism". He either likes to work with stars or their kids.

So why is KJo suddenly giving so many opportunities to Vicky? I'm baffled to be honest. Karan casted Vicky for Lust Stories, then for a horror film produced by Dharma and now Takht. Even Anupama said that it's shocking to see Vicky as the lead in a Karan Johar film.

Vicky isn't even considered to be the conventional "good looking" hero material and we all know what KJo had said about Ranveer.

I can understand KJo being obsessed with Fawad and wanting to work with him. SRK was already an established star when KJo started doing back to back films with him, Sid is also good looking.

Where does Vicky fit into all of this? Is KJo finally starting to appreciate pure talent? Ya fir nepotism ka Kalank hatana h usse apne upar se 😆

I think he also wants to have his own gang of outsiders which he converts into "insiders" Like Bhumi, Kiara aka ALIA, Vicky etc. Maybe this will get him less backlash from the nepotism hue and cry (from his perspective).

vicky is technically not an outsider, he is the son of a very famous action director. kjo just wants to cash on his popularity amongst fangirls and will probably jump in the siddhant chaturvedi bandwagon next😆

Kiara is also an insider, isn't it? She's related to Juhi Chawla, Saeed Jaffrey and Ashok Kumar 😆

Because Vicky is not an outsider. Also happens to be talented. Again is quite popular these days. So why won't he?

Shyam Kaushal is an action director not an actor or producer. He has been in the industry for a long time but that doesn't make Vicky a "star kid" like Janhvi, Sara, etc.

Vicky has talked about his humble upbringing many times. He used to live in a very small house and didn't have any luxuries.

So I don't understand how he can be called an "insider" just because of this. He's talked about his struggles as well with the whole auditioning process to get roles in films.

@bold Vicky got actual stardom after URI, Karan had already casted him in his films before that. Also, Karan has never really cared about talent lol 😆
