If the film will be remembered it will be only for Anil and his fabulous acting. He is quite an underrated actor. Child Sweety was also very good and ofcourse Regina Cassandra is such a stunner.

Weak narrative and pathetic Sonam did no favors for lesbians.

He is no underrated actor. He has got enough credit in a lot of movies. But his performance was nothing special in this movie. Very average.

That's why the film didn't work as it was focused on anil , juhi , rrao than sonam character

Tbh there was hardly anything to steal. The movie was about the love and the hardships that the love faced. But love toh dikhao! I mean how am I even going to feel anything or connect with their story if you don't show anything about how Sonam and Regina's story developed etc. Personally I would have liked to see more about their relationship with each other. When I saw in Regina's name as special appearance in the credits at the beginning, I knew it was going to be a slippery slope from here.

In the movie, Sonam's character when critiquing RRao's play says that it is bland because there is no complication in his love story. What happened in the movie is exact opposite with the same conclusion. Complications dikhaaye, but love bhi toh dikhao.

And Sonam's performance adds chaar New moons to the movie.

You are right but they should have casted an actress instead of a fashion icon for the role. She would have shown the depth inspite of poor writing. Even Anil's character was written poorly but he rose above the script showing father's pain and a man of broken dreams.

May be they have written the story to make it entertaining for the mass but sad they missed the crux and Sonam should be banned from acting.
