Since I have been a Sunaina advocate (anyone wants to read my earlier Sunain post can read it here: https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/krishna-chali-london/5077801/sunaina-a-mother-in-distress) I felt this post was necessary. I know it is still a bit too early to be writing this, but even this early, I can see the difference. And this will probably not be a very long post.
I remember when Krishna first entered the Shukla house, how Shuklain was against her. The way she was treated, presented in front of guests as if she was a showcase and not a human. Be it when Gaj was sent to jail by Krishna, or when Krishna tried to look after Shuklain's health, she was treated like a doormat. Shuklain was so selfish that she even burnt Krishna's passport. Why? Because the elder brother of Shukla was back and Shuklain was scared and she knew the only person who could save her was Krishna. She did not even once think about Krishna or her dreams. Krishna had finally gotten her scholarship and was leaving for London to study - but no, Krishna wasn't important at all. When Radhay died, she did not take a second to blame Krishna. She kicked her out of the house and did not care if she lived or died. That was Shuklain for Krishna. Even now, Shuklain not even once thought about Krishna's happiness or her wellbeing, all she cared about what Radhay's aatma would be doing or thinking.
On the other hand, Sunaina welcomed Krishna like a mother welcomes a daughter. Those small scenes and interactions Sunaina and Krishna have been so meaningful. Yesterday when Krishna hugged her mother in law shyly and the kiss she received from Sunaina, spoke volumes. Today, when she was leaving, it was a mother sending away daughter and hoping she quickly comes back. Today, when the son was taken away and daughter wanted to tell Krishna, Sunaina wasn't blaming her, she was actually worried for her. She did not want her daughter's first day after marriage spoilt. Krishna comes to the police station to meet her husband, when the constables are pulling Krishna away, I hope you noticed the concerned mother. The mother who was worried not only for her son but also for her daughter.
This is a mother who is not going to blame anyone. This a mother who will thrive not on hatred but on love. This is the mother who will eventually play a pivotal role in reducing the pain both her children will feel when the separation comes into play...
This is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship. The relationship that shall only blossom with time. Krishna will finally find a mother, or maybe already has found one in Sunaina.
Only yesterday I said that the last few episodes have given new dimensions to a lot of relationships... here is one new dimension - Sunaina and Krishna.
