I don't know about all these prollies of yours, my dear Ayesha, but the CVs have surely lost their ability, if ever they had any, of making rational decisions. Then how can their Avatars, the characters, make any?
The ludicrous choices made by "the best lawyer in the country" and his mentor follow directly from this fundamental truth. I have noted this above, and you have reinforced it with your jab at Grover babbling about converting black money into white in a public restaurant. 😡 Pathetic.
It was not just perjury, either. It was perjury for framing an innocent person to get RV's brother off. Perjury in minor matters is not taken so seriously in India, as you would know, but thiswas for a major crime. But they don't show enough of RV's inner turmoil about what he has done. It should have been eating him up internally, but that hardly shows.
RV could well become obsessive . I agree completely with your assessment that he is less concerned with his guilt - I was astonished at how little he agonises over his crime - than with this suet pudding Happy's (hopefully) amar dosti.
He doesn't even seem to want anything more, which is decidedly odd. He is not like a hopeful lover. He is like a loyal, caring puppy, who.only wants to be patted from time to time.😕
Of course, while seeking a lifetime warranty of Happy's dosti, he forgets that nothing in life is permanent, least of all a relationship built on one side giving and the other taking.
Still I don't think Happy will slap him after the Grand Revelation. That is not her style. She is more likely to wrinkle her forehead, tilt her head, and agonise over how RV could have done what he did.
But we can rest assured that when RV's obsession time comes, it will be nothing sophisticated. It will be blacker than black. Why, they dragged even Alexander through the mud - remember that horrible scene with Barsine, which was the nadir😡 - to yeh RV kya cheez hai?
So I have, in my post above, contented myself with admiring Rohit as he makes the best of things. His opportunities might vanish soon, if the pol khol happens as soon as you expect it to.
The same goes for me. My forte, such as it is, is in analysis and description, and I don't see much scope for either here. So what with that and my painful rheumatic fingers, I don't see myself doing much here. But I shall drop in from time to time to see what you are up to.😉
Finally, if I could only get my hands on her, I would bury Smiley five fathoms deep. Her nakhre, and Happy .and the rest pandering to them, are enough to drive me up the nearest wall.😡

QUOTE=LawlessLawyer]As a lawyer I myself,I had a facepalm moment seeing the condition of the so called 'Best Lawyers in the city' 😆
Like how could they both be so stupid and end up as Bhatia-Sania's puppets?
Perjury is something which shouldn't be committed under any circumstances. And if those two went ahead and did it then they should have been very well prepared for the repercussions.
Now only if they had exposed Ranveer, they could have still picked up the pieces and started over again. But now they are entangled in all of Bhatia's illegal and shady dealings from which there is no escape.
Also I was surprised to see them discussing their confidential business matters at a busy restaurant filled with people when any Tom,Dick,Harry or Rocky can eavesdrop on their conversation🤔 Aren't they all filthy rich? They could have easily booked a private room or discussed this in their homes?
Or maybe I am just thinking too much.
About RV,all I can think of from his condition is the phrase,''All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy"
RV's life was going on smoothly before he landed up in a soup thanks to his own little brother. And instead of getting out of that soup he made a choice which turned his life in a totally separate direction. At present he is a person who has committed perjury and is involved in illegal stuff. This is certainly not what he sought to be.
I guess he feels frustrated and trapped by his own choices. At this stage there is Happy in front of him.
Now I may find Happy to be somewhat annoying as a character who is confused but in this show's universe Happy is this angel who is the epitome of goodness. She spread happiness wherever she goes and blah blah blah. This is how the characters of the show view her.RV is no exception. He is attracted to Happy's light because he himself has been dragged into the darkness unwillingly.Yes the guilt plays an important role over here but is it just that? The ones directly affected by that incident were Smiley and Rocky. So naturally he should feel guilty towards them because he has wronged them. But he is more anxious about losing Happy's friendship. There was a look of solace on his face when he saw Happy playing around with those kids.No pun intended but amidst all the guilt,Sania-Bhatia and tension it's only Happy which makes this guy happy. So I assume that this is what will kickstart his obsessive nature. He will prolly end up getting slapped by Happy when Rocky does his pol khol and he won't bear to lose her.
I might be wrong over here who knows RV will prolly end up losing his ability to make rational decisions.
And Happy making statements like,'You are there to take care of me while I take care of everyone' only makes matters worse.🤪
