If I remember correctly it was KJ who said that in his IV after merger about the parent showing needing them as it was sinking...😆

How did a show having 1.9+ trps need saving by a show having 1.2trps.😛
I think some didn't read the writer's IV at all. Where she said some harsh truth about the 'supersavers'😆

I think now that DIB is over, I will try to give my time on someone's else show. I mean why should others have all the fun of 'giving fair criticism' only. I will drop there too and troll a bit.😆

I'm guessing if they focussed on the normal, lovely story as it was at the beginning rather than the ridiculous plots and saazishes IB could have gone on for years longer with top ratings.

As it stands I think all of the original IB cast will do well out of this show. Surbhi especially as this was her first big female lead role. I can't wait to see her in her next one!

At the beginning DBO got good rates. When the leads roles were minimized the rating also decreased. I think both shows ratings differed in the fractions only not in the integers in maximum weeks.

If the makers had thought that kunal and leenesh presence was the most important in IB they would have shut DBO rather than merging.

I agree that KJ and LM are both excellent actors and OmRu as characters also have so much potential. But instead of a Spin-off show, I think I would have preferred if they had all three as leads the way it was in the beginning. Giving each character the time and scenes they deserve and a chance to show off their acting chops. And giving them storylines and character arcs that fit them and would do them justice .
Honestly what bugged me about DBO was just that it didn't seem to be very nicely executed. I mean, there didn't seem to be any solid connection between the two shows even though it was showing the happenings of the same family living in the same house at the same time. If it was done better, then I would have loved it. But it was a badly executed decision by the makers. Both shows just didn't sync up.
