Well, I looked up. I read a lady by name Naaz was dubbing for Sridevi starting from Himmatwala. It say she dubbed for 40 movies. (She is no more). But the article does not give out the names of the movies.

Article says, Naaz started to dub other artists too. Sridevi had problems with that (as her identity will be lost). Sridevi started using her own voice since Chandini.

But Chaalbaaz which released in the same year had Naaz's voice. (Because the article says, Nazz was paid a high sum of 30,000 for her work in that movie). I presume, movies that were released before Chandini (like Nageena or Mr. India, when she was at her peak, have made use of dubbing artists).

I will not compare Madhuri-Sri anymore, as that was not the intention of the thread. Someone has the problem with Madhuri being praised. Saying she made no difference to TD or bringing Sri for comparison and saying Madhuri was not as successful as her.. I can see how efforts are being made to pull her down.

I will stop here. She has proved what she can do, even without having an army for her in IF.

Mr. India had her voice. Nagina did not. Even Chalbaaz had Sri's voice I don't know why the article will say Naaz dubbed for her because it was clearly Sridevi's voice in Chaalbaaz.

But yes Nagina and movies before that her voice was dubbed.
