The instances you mentioned were the ones I was thinking about. Other than that he always sung her praises and held her in really high esteem. Even after the affair there are few instances where he mentioned she is the best woman he knows and other things like that.

You know what Sabhayata, I understand what you are saying here ! But sadly enough, I seem to have more trust in Mishti than in Mauli. For my own peace of mind through the weekend, I am still holding on to Mishti to do the right thing, as in wanting to meet her father, not bringing Mauli and her father together. Hell NO, I don't want her to do that, but show some basic decency to a father who had been there for her through her rough times and happy times😭 I tear up as I remember how shabbily Ishaan was treated by Mauli yesterday😡

Through all this confusion/jazbaath nonsense which Mauli showed, this little girl didn't falter, not even once till now. Of course, with dida's manipulation she said something, but I am going to give her a long leash for her childhood for that ONE TIME.

I always think about this when I watch the show. For me, absolutely no. The only time I worried about Mauli's self respect was when she was begging Kunal to be with her and she was still desperate to be with him. Didn't hold it against her although I definitely didn't agree with it.

Coming to the over all track I think Mauli is exactly like Kashi Bai. She didn't run to Kunal's arms to be with him or put up with his drama. She did give him out of my bedroom treatment. After the leap, even after realizing time and time again she had feelings for Kunal she chose to move on. She did everything right. She didn't keep in touch with him. She cut him off. She chose to marry another man. She left Kunal out of Mishti's life. Kashi Bai continued to love Bajirao and stood by him when he needed her, she just cut off the romantic relationship. Mauli did the same. Mauli loves Kunal. It would've been so easy to just give in and be with him. She always held herself back.
