Why is it okay for SLB to be rude & shout at his actors?

I am sure more or less everyone is aware of his rudeness towards his actors, casts and employees. He makes them cry, some of the background dancers even refused to shoot for his extreme disrespect towards them but none seems to have any issues. Is this becoz he is successful? What might be the reasons? Why everyone becomes so silent when it comes to SLB? Is it okay?

Never heard of it. All I have heard is he is a Hard taskmaster like any Boss in any working environment. To get the best, they push their team harder. People who work with Gauri/Zoya/SLB know and get what they signed up for.

Even Ranveer says it can be hard to work with him because he is a crazy artist that needs perfection and gives attention to every detail. I guess he can be impatient and doesn't realise what impact that might have on others. Regardless of that, it's wrong.

P. S. Though I do think that he needs to chill the hell out. He is heavily overrated.

sure thing, avoid Kangana part coz i don't want deviation from SLB. My intention was not to bring her controversies but her work style. She (may have) said Sonu didn't want to be directed by a female director. Not interested in other controversies. Alia complained about how Gauri Zoya made her cry when SLB had long reputation of doing so. Not just Ranveer, he made Aish Sonam Deepu PC cry. He has extreme anger which shouldn't be forgotten when the movies become hit. Many of his casts & crew memebers get isolated and that process worsen due to his incredible schedule for 6-8 months. I wouldn't be surprised if Deepu's depression accelerated due to his intense pressure.

He is called out for his demeanour so we can't say that nobody has a problem. The fact is known so it needs condemnation.

Bhansali is an incredibly passionate Filmmaker who wants the best for his film. If it means that he screams at his crew/cast, it's not forgivable but we can't also rebuke him because he puts his soul into his work.

How does his passion reflect in his films? He is always known for mediocre films. He gives attention to cinematographic details, that doesn't mean he should get a free pass for his rudeness and anger

May be you haven't followed him. Yes thats the point. Actors sign up knowing they will get an instant hit and fame but does that mean they should tolerate his BS which people say passion? Is yelling, shouting and disrespecting people make someone passionate?
