NO they are not when it comes to their career! .. Professionally they both have their "own identity" .. Just becoz you get married you don't leave behind your identity! ... Both are in the same field so bound to be compared! .. Plus they are the "hot property" of BW today! ... 😉

Really why? .. Ranveer has brought in huge numbers with Simmba and now it seems even with GB ... I think he seems to have more connect with BO now! .. Don't you think so?! ...

Idk if we go by opening day nos then his worst film befkre with no a list actress and despite -ve wom and demonetization opened with more than 10cr at boxoffice Where as piku despite +ve rewiews, collected only 5+ at first day. Now a niche movie like GB is expected to collect more than 20cr in its opening day. So ranveer has bigger bo pull than deepika but dp is a bigger brand than ranveer.

they are equal. we have seen bad films of ranveer doing bad, and good films of his doing exceptionally well. same case with deepika.

they both are "bankable stars" same with a lot of others including alia, shraddha, varun, katrina, priyanka, etc, etc

so I actually dont understand comparisons. if the star is bankable and the film is good it will rake in money. if it is a poor film, it will not do well.

I dont think this question works anymore. from the lot of successful actors..there are those who are more talented on screen, and there are those who just get better films and shine through based on the script. stardom is all about making the right choices, some PR, and having support

if its ranveer and deepika now, its someone else next year and the years to come.
