I am not his fan but this is true. His fans are tilted in favor of Deepu but he is clearly the bigger star.

Superhero films are a more accessible genre. Make a good film with action and humor in the right doses. add a popular face like Deepika .It will surprise. From Bahubali it is clear we don't even mind shitty VFX :p

I don't have a lot of faith in Karan. Dharma is great at production design but horrible at substance. But Brahmastra has a lot of potential, if Ayan has done his job well.

Thats the fact na, a well made movie. 30 cr is tooo high.. Almost twice as high in current values. The figures are astronomical tbh for Deepu alone. Even TOH collapsed to nothing after record breaking opening.
As for Brahmastra, it can do well if it doesn't target marvel/DC fans. It has to integrate Indian culture and present a good combination of story, direction performance and screenplay. Kjo is shrewd, he must have seen something special. He wouldn't risk if it was trying to be wannabe superhero movie. But typical RK-Alia relationship promotion will not be as exciting to create strong prerelease buzz tbh.
