He helped her to be normal with Kunal. He saw her in the dargah with Kunal. There are many assholes including Kunal who rushed to Mauli's engagement for an answer as soon as he knew Mishti is his daughter. But Ishan didn't ask anything to Mauli even when she was with Kunal in dargah. Matured behavior is a practice. It just doesn't pops up. Aggressiveness is also is a behavioral disorder which is always present in Kunal. Whether it is watching wife's bf in wet saree or jumping in for sex with a woman when she is in her worst situation.

Although Ishan showed his weakness once when Mauli tried to break up the relationship. But I guess till now he never took fayeda of Mauli in her weak condition like Kunal did. Ishan knows what love is. That is why he is in love with this girl Mauli. His intention is not hurting her or insult her or take chances when he tried to stop her...it was more like a drowning man trying to hold a straw.. To him Mauli is almost like a Devi. He loves everything about her. When his mother asked...he said he loves Dida, radhika, Mishti ...means entire Mauli. He doesn't only want Mauli or her body ( like Kunno did) he wants Mauli. Her sorrow, her insecurities, her smile, her pereshani...etc he just love her with her whole living. He is Okay if she doesn't kiss him, miss him or even stay as friend...but not ok when she wants to break up.

I am not telling you should marry a person just because he loves you or waiting for thousand years. Or worship you or cherish your everything. Often girls deny his kind of lovers. Many girls have a thing for bad boys. But that doesn't make Ishan a loser or less than Kunal. If I compare Kunal and Ishan...as a person not whom Mauli should choose. Ishan is a better person and a better lover. As he know the first law of love If you love someone give her space. Honor her decision. Wait till she tells her reason. Not like Kunal. "I used to love you...now I don't ...pack your bag Mauli...ok not pack...jaaahhh. " That was Kunal. Kunal kept a note for Mauli once in wardrobe ...I don't know why I love you but still I love you. Kind of statement. Ishan said "Mauli is the best lady he knows. When you love someone this is the answer you give. I don't know why is as good as I don't know why I slept with N and watched her rain dance. More like an animal. Driven by animal instinct.

A better person should be respected. And they should be compared with bad guys. Just like we are comparing Nandu and Mauli...we should compare Kunal and Ishan too. Ishan's love is more like Bryan Adam's song "You love a woman Kunal's love for N is more like "When a man loves woman.

LOve is neither right...nor wrong. It just doesn't work the way we want. But Good is always good...bad is bad.

u are reminding me of some fans who used to say mauli has no layers.. anyways for me , ishaan isnt as layered as others but what my point is he hasnt undergone extreme conditions like other characters..

If Gajra wants she can show that Ishaan is Rajdeep with plastic surgery, then what?

If she wants she can show how great husband Ishaan will be to Mauli, how Ishaan will resist all temptation etc.

Right now, His character sketch is too small to be compared to a journey that is Mauli, Kunal, Nandini and even Rajdeep..

yes of course he is a post leap birdie he hasnt much things in his basket. but its NOT TOO SMALL.. i am making an ishaali thread. i guess u can take a look at that by the end of 2 weeks.. ishaan isnt as small character as u r making him to look like.. mehen-mauli and ishaan-kunal is a very wrong comparison!

whole world is saying mauli should choose ishaan and ishaali is all over the place and u r saying his character sketch it small..

what brownie points kunal gets with huge sketch??

His character has started, we don't know nothing about him, his education, how he met Mauli? Is Mauli his first love? Did he have a girlfriend in college? How did he meet Mishti? Not alot has been invested in his character apart from his mother... Now if you see his mother has shown more shades than him

achi life h bande ki.. once he had breakup with mauli, he showed his shades that day. he told that he isnt gonna leave her ever..

he made her talk to him in his own way, back to his usual self..

i dont get it why he needs some different shades or something..

if he discovers that mauli still likes kunal then he will back out (his usual self) will he keep doing his usual stuff throughtout the journey then u will call that no growth?? he is being himself.!!

About his reaction to Kunal, it's obvious that people don't act like Ishaan does around fiance's ex husbands, especially when he knows that he cheated on Mauli.. Ishaan knows Mauli?

u dont really reply when i ask u mauli is okay going dinner with kunal, she is okay with his being around in the park , dropping mauli mishti home.. mauli is all okay with kunal in front of ishaan then why ishaan should unnecessary act rude or something..

first u tell me is mauli's behaviour with kunal was acceptable? if i were mauli i would have avoided him like a spam.. but she is not avoiding him which is fine with me.. but why do u want ishaan to behave different when the ema victim is herself fine with it..

She told him that kunal is a good doctor and all so he agreed? But did he read between the lines? If he knew Mauli, he would have known she is not comfortable with Kunal's presence, that's what knowing someone means no?

wherr was mauli uncomfortable in front of him?? as viewers we see scenes where she was not comfortable with kunal that too in first post leao episodes.. after that she is so damn fine with kunal..

i have always seen mauli sharing things about kunal with ishaan and not hiding things. then why he should read between the lines?? nd i dont think there is anything that mauli has expressed and requires reading between the lines. it was only in few post leap episodes

in this way kunal knows NOTHING about mauli.. like notjing.. he accused her , doubted her, enquired about her pregnancy which is yukk!!! asked her what she told mishti about him

. at least ishaan didnt doubt mauli even after all these incidences, he told kunal that mauli isnt a person who will badmouth about kunal.

Ishaan is just a great guy..all good qualities ...to show us what Mauli can have ..but Ishaan is a side role .,and writers don't give side characters any background . Even with Rajdeep we didn't get to see his family background ; how he. First met Mauli and nandu etc, we just got to see his bad qualities because he was just the bad guy . But Shakti is the male lead so we get to know everything about him and he has his family around him and then we will get to know things from his childhood as well. Writers tend to focus mainly and sometimes solely on the leads ..so it's hard to compare Ishaan and Kunal because we haven't seen enough of Ishaan nor are we probably going to see more . Kunal we saw in so many different roles ...son, grandson, dad, husband, lover, cheating husband, wife abuser ( verbal) ; doctor ..etc. but Ishaan we've only seen as a tender loving man, great step father to be, loving son, good friend to Mauli, restaurant owner, a romantic at heart , and generally an overall good guy whom everyone seems to love .. 😊

First time Mauli got to know about Kunal and she was shaken, she went to dinner "Because mai apne promise nahi todti", a person who knows Mauli would know that she is taunting Kunal

Mauli says she is fine, but she is not generally fine because she is constantly trying to hide her pain and her emotions, someone who knows her will read her behavior...

For example remember when Mauli's mom visited Maunal and taunted Mauli, everyone thought Mauli was fine, Mauli even told Kunal that she is fine, but Kunal understood that something is wrong, he sang a song for her and cheered her up

First meeting restaurant scene - Mauli was hesitating, she dropped a spoon, she was nervous.. Did Ishaan notice it? No

Take that dhaba scene for example, Ishaan was there with Mauli, Mauli was trying to hide behind the menu, Ishaan took her to Kunal's table, Mauli didn't even act all fine, she coughed when Mehek said that she is Nandini's best friend and Ishaan knows Nandini was Mauli's best friend.. Kunal noticed this but Ishaan didn't...

Mauli says she is fine, when she obviously isn't fine, and Ishaan accepts it, how is that knowing Mauli?

Ishaan doesn't understand Mauli, he takes her word for it, she had to tell him that she needs time and he remembered that when his mom asked him to put a ring on her, but he didn't notice how uncomfortable was Mauli in her engagement ceremony months ago... He can't read Mauli..

Between Ishaan and Kunal, I have said that Ishaan is a better human... I wasn't even getting into this comparison because there can't be a comparison, these two characters are very different, Kunal's selfishness controls him and Ishaan is not selfish in anyway

most scenes u have mentioned are from a viewers pov.. ishaan hasnt seen many of those reactions..

but i do agree that in her first meeting she was hesitant and nervous.. but ishaan didnt notice that.. but it doesnt mean he doesnt know her..

i told u how he knows her.. he knows mauli cant brainwash mishti , he knows she cant lie to him (dargah scene) , he knows that she likes/loves him but not to full extent, he knows she is fighting with her past ( he told the same to his mom)

and the most important of all there are some cinematic liberties which makers take.. so ishaan not noticing that nervousness was a cinematic liberty. it wasnt a huge issue..

huge things are his nit doubting her and all the above points which i made..

knowing a person doesnt mean we need to know/notice every single detail about the other person.. what ishaan knows about her can not be dismissed bcz he overlooked few expressions of hers..

The problem is Mauli never shared her past with Ishan. He just knew they are divorced and Kunal had no idea that Mishti is his daughter. In here it is not Ishan's fault that he reacted this way. Anyone would do that if that guy knows nothing . It is Mauli's fault that she never shared her past with Ishan too. She is hiding herself . But whenever she opened to him...he listened and tried to understand and solve the problem. Ishan is good...but not antaryami. It is Mauli who needs to open herself to Ishan so that he can punch on Kunal's face. 😆 Kunal needs a dhulai for what he did in her engagement day at the hall and at the house too . If Mauli can't, Mauli's lover should do that. 😛

He is Mauli's worshiper. Do we understand God? No. Worshipers don't understand. But still they offer themselves to God.They just cherish , love. How can a human understand a Devi?But still human loves.
Let me share a story of Tagore. It is called "Shayma". Shayma was a court dancer. A boy fell in love with her not knowing what she really is. But she was in love with a thief/hero. To save the hero she asked the boy, " You say you love me. Can you prove it?" The boy said, "Name anything I will prove it. " She asks him to confess that he is the thief and take all the blames on his shoulder. To prove his love the boy at last confessed and as a result got killed.
Worshiper kind of love is like that. Mauli is a great lady. She deserves a worshiper kind of guy. ( I am not doing match making here...😆) Just wanting a man like that boy for Mauli. She suffered so much for all these years. Her good work paid her nothing. At least she should get a worshiper as she is like a Devi. And every Devi needs worshiper. Someone who respects her, honor her, give her all his attentions...Not like a man like Kunal who dumps pile of responsibilities on her shoulder just because she is tolerating. ..

Yes, I know from your many posts that you too agree that Ishan is a better man than Kunal. Although his character is very short here. This serial never portrayed any character in detail. So most of the characters are misunderstood. I was so angry with Mahek once. 😆 But Except Mauli and radhika ...most probably Ishan is the third character I liked in this serial. Till now ...he is the "GUY"...I mean "Good GUY"> 😳

P.S. Personally I love worshiper kind of lovers. Don't ask...just follow me . 😆😆
