Kunal VS Ishan

It says when you love someone let her go, if she comes back she is yours. Or else she was never your. Ishan's love is like that. He is more like Mauli's worshipper. He is alright if she doesn't want to marry. He is alright if she wants space. From the day he entered in this serial he was shown as an open minded man who is always there when Mauli needs him. Remember the Girgaon incident...he was the right man at the right time. More like a shoulder to cry or savior when Mauli is embarrassed and alone. He didn't felt a bit embarrassed when Mishti called him Popsi in front of her class. Mauli felt embarrassed and she apologized. He could feel angry or rejected when Mauli said that. He showed his maturity . He told her, "I am still waiting for your answer. She said she needs time. He said "ok. Kunal came with his daughter and Mauli was scared, angry, nervous...Ishan cooled her. He helped her to be normal with Kunal. He saw her in the dargah with Kunal. There are many assholes including Kunal who rushed to Mauli's engagement for an answer as soon as he knew Mishti is his daughter. But Ishan didn't ask anything to Mauli even when she was with Kunal in dargah. Matured behavior is a practice. It just doesn't pops up. Aggressiveness is also is a behavioral disorder which is always present in Kunal. Whether it is watching wife's bf in wet saree or jumping in for sex with a woman when she is in her worst situation.

Although Ishan showed his weakness once when Mauli tried to break up the relationship. But I guess till now he never took fayeda of Mauli in her weak condition like Kunal did. Ishan knows what love is. That is why he is in love with this girl Mauli. His intention is not hurting her or insult her or take chances when he tried to stop her...it was more like a drowning man trying to hold a straw.. To him Mauli is almost like a Devi. He loves everything about her. When his mother asked...he said he loves Dida, radhika, Mishti ...means entire Mauli. He doesn't only want Mauli or her body ( like Kunno did) he wants Mauli. Her sorrow, her insecurities, her smile, her pereshani...etc he just love her with her whole living. He is Okay if she doesn't kiss him, miss him or even stay as friend...but not ok when she wants to break up.

I am not telling you should marry a person just because he loves you or waiting for thousand years. Or worship you or cherish your everything. Often girls deny his kind of lovers. Many girls have a thing for bad boys. But that doesn't make Ishan a loser or less than Kunal. If I compare Kunal and Ishan...as a person not whom Mauli should choose. Ishan is a better person and a better lover. As he know the first law of love If you love someone give her space. Honor her decision. Wait till she tells her reason. Not like Kunal. "I used to love you...now I don't ...pack your bag Mauli...ok not pack...jaaahhh. " That was Kunal. Kunal kept a note for Mauli once in wardrobe ...I don't know why I love you but still I love you. Kind of statement. Ishan said "Mauli is the best lady he knows. When you love someone this is the answer you give. I don't know why is as good as I don't know why I slept with N and watched her rain dance. More like an animal. Driven by animal instinct.

A better person should be respected. And they should be compared with bad guys. Just like we are comparing Nandu and Mauli...we should compare Kunal and Ishan too. Ishan's love is more like Bryan Adam's song "You love a woman Kunal's love for N is more like "When a man loves woman.

LOve is neither right...nor wrong. It just doesn't work the way we want. But Good is always good...bad is bad.

If I think about it, Kunal is in show from pilot episode, he was initially very good to Mauli.. Kunal was practically husband goals before that fated rain dance

Maunal had 4 years of dating relationship and 3 years of successful marriage...

Ishaan is yet to cross Kunal's dating days..

What I am trying to say that Kunal has shown many shades, because he is the male lead, there is 0 growth or anything in Ishaan's character, he has been there, he is mature

It's like comparing Mauli and Mehek

Mahek has been there and she is mature too

ishaan's character sketch isnt the same. it was all rosy and dreamy until kunal happened to him, to them actually..

after that he got engaged to mauli and then he again faced his mothers issues then mauli broke up with him.. he had a breakup where he cried buckets yet he told her no! i cant let this relationship go bcz mauli wasnt leaving him for some good reason. it was her majboori.!!

and he stood by her by not giving up..

actually u r right.. kunal and ishaan can not be compared bcz kunal is not at all worthy of this comparison.

Absolutely nothing

This is about character, he doesn't really has any decisive scenes...

He is a good guy, who loves Mauli, so was Kunal for 7 years...

Yeah I am completely with you. For me Kunal vs Ishaan doesn't even matter because that is not how love works. Sometimes a person can have many flaws yet be more desirable to us over other perfect people.

The reason I moved away from Ishaan was because as a character he bored me to death. I don't like incomplete characters who solely exist to fulfill a plot point. And if we are speaking about Mauli then kunal at his best (emphasis on his best) is better than what we have seen of Ishaan or we will most likely ever see of Ishaan. So the question really comes down to Mauli's heart at the end of the day.

let compare mauli and ishaan.. a better comparison in terms of length of sketching.

both are good! she is from the begining, have suffered a lot and survived..

ishaan hasnt undergone that level of trauma but it isnt even needed.. not evrryone's life is as tragic or as happening as muali/kunal/nandini ..

i tell u what was the difference when he got to know that kunal was mauli's ex.. he thought mauli isnt comfortable for the dinner but she told him she is all okay wuth that. so he also was all okay with kunal..

even i appreciated this quality of ishaan that he isnt judging kunal for his divorce with mauli.. ishaan knows mauli very well so he could hve judged kunal but he didnt..

then he got to know about kunal's deeds. ishaan took a firm stand and told everybody at home that he will not let them suffer more and will always be their side as a beta.

but again, mauli said she trusts kunal wont snatch mishti.. ishaan was a bit surprised. he even asked mauli if she is sure of this marriage to which she replied he is the best guy for her..

why ishaan is supposed to judge kunal or even loath kunal when mauli herself isnt doing that??

what kind of reaction do u want from ishaan and why??
