Harshad really needs to stop taking up dream projects man

Everytime he is in for a 'Dream Project', it gets stalled, off-air, controversial and what not.

Ekta Kapoor made one of the most beautiful stories of all time , tere liye and it was her dream project. Personally, I loved that show! The direction was good the actors (lead and side) were amazing and story was amongst those few ones which stays with you for a lifetime. Harshad nailed as Anurag but the show met the worst fate !!! It went off-air even before the original story could take off. And that was probably the last sane show I had watched of Ekta. Her entire serial concept went down the drain post that.

Anniruddh sir' came with a story that shook the soul of not only Indians but in people over seas. A show that dealt with a taboo issue gracefully and presented it like a magic onscreen. The pairing , ofcourse did the rest other thing. Harshad and Jennifer raised the bar for every other show that are yet to come in ITV and Aditya and Zoya, wrote history.

For a show as beautiful as this, saw the worst of days and was pulled off air.

All in all, Harshad really needs number and should rather go for a NON Dream project 😆

I do not intend to hurt anyone's sentiments here. This is just a fun observation and I am really happy with his choice of works and scripts and I don't want him to stoop low , below is level, though I would want him to take risks with his characters now .

P.s : it is said that tere liye is taken from a novel. Does anyone know which one?

I know, we all want best for him & he deserves it too. We all want his shows to get numbers because the show that he choses deserves number too.Tere liye fortunately was trp ruler (going by fan's account) & Bepannaah if we take into account the changing time slots & competition did quite well. So I really don't blame his choices as his shows manage to create the impact. So, I really don't think Harshad is going to change his views anytime soon wrt his projects.

I had mentioned earlier in another thread (probably yours only, Thank you Harshad thread), he is a kind of misfit in today's ITV industry. With his every dream project facing d worst fate, d man manages to stump his critics & fans alike with each his new dream project. It's like he is in a constant battle of sorts with his destiny & keeps challenging it at every step. It's difficult not to get swayed & choose d more conventional route & play furniture (ML in ITV is no more than that IMO) . I don't know how he manages to do that.

He is one of d most enigmatic & intriguing actor, dare I say, of all times atleast in ITV.

Again I am saying the same thing, he is more activist, philosopher & thinker who happens to have an acting talent & is fascinated by performing arts. Let him be that. We need more thinking artists (a species on d v erge of extinction probably) because we r so flooded with d stars.

In d end, I think onus falls on d industry & audience to appreciate these kind of rare gems. We need to respect these artists & not let them get lost in d trp mess.

With bepannaah, audience has given their verdict that they want change. They need good content & will go to any length to support a good show & performance. The ball isnow in industry's court. They need to sit up & take note & mend their ways.

The Best part of this man is that he does not run behind a Rat Race and does projects which showcases his acting nuances and has something to contribute with content wise ! So kudos to his choice ! Hope his next will be another bang on !
