Katrina opts out of Remo's dance film with Varun

Remo D'Souza brought about the craze for dance movies in India when he directed the commercially successful and critically acclaimed film, ABCD. Then, Remo turned ABCD into a franchise with ABCD 2 that starred Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. Some time back, it was announced that Varun was going to reunite with Remo for another dance movie, which would have Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. Remo's dance film would have been the first time that we would have gotten to see Varun and Katrina on-screen.

However, for some sad news, Katrina has opted out of starring in the movie. The reason being the gruelling and hectic schedule of Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial, Bharat. Katrina's official spokesperson revealed, "Katrina Kaif had to opt out of Remo D'Souza's upcoming dance film owing to her hectic schedule for Bharat. Katrina has always been a thorough professional. She decided to step out of the film as her dates were clashing with Bharat, which she is currently shooting for."
