Sometimes I feel I am the one who doesn't like the movie... Raj was annoying and simran had no say in her life, does anyone else not like the movie?

I find the movie terribly overrated. Its watchable that's about it.

Its got no emotional depth I feel like its very very superficial.

DDLJ used to be nice when I was younger. Today KKHH, DDLJ, K3G all are just so tacky and annoying. Half baked characters, illogical plots! That a trashy K3G was appreciated and a gem Swades was outright rejected(I'm talking about BO numbers) shows how much the fans back then don't really treasure the actor in him. Irony how that's what they yearning for now.

Yes! It's stupid and overrated AF! I only watched it because people around me acted like I did some ghor paap. Regret.

I like the movie. But surely I never saw as much hype about it as much I saw here. It's in the age of social media that movie is celebrated so.. up until I came on IF.. DDLJ was just a popular hit movie.

KKHH was always more prominent in making people go mad and leaving its mark. There was some real craze for it.

Why is every single film overrated on this forum? 😆 Back then when it released, it was different and the love story clicked in a big way. It had an engaging plot, a brilliant lead pair and ensemble cast and it was supported by a fabulous album. No surprises that it clicked. If you judge it by today's standards, it is obviously cliched and outdated. Back then it was brilliant. So no it is definitely not overrated and I don't think we have a single lead pair in Bollywood who can replicate the charm of Raj and Simran. I can totally see why it clicked the way it did.
